    Description

Hi, I’m Natalie and hosting people who wish to visit Ghent while helping me in the house. The house has been renovated by myself, but some tasks still need to be done and some painting. I’m happy to meet and exchange if that resonates for you. There are also some daily tasks that i’ld like to get some help with. In the meantime we can get to know each other… Always nice to meet travelers, since I’ve lived traveling myself for 7 years. I love to expand my gaze.

The house is located near dampoort station, close (walking distance) to the old center.

Workawayers are welcome to share daily life in a calm and creative home environment, where there is space for exchange, conversation, and mutual inspiration. Everyone has their own rhythm and independence, while there is also room for meaningful interaction when it naturally arises.

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, and I find it enriching to exchange ideas, experiences, and different perspectives on life. I like getting to know the people who stay here through conversations, shared meals when it works out, and everyday life in the house.

As an architect and designer, I renovated most of the house and created much of the art in it myself. I enjoy sharing knowledge about design, creativity, renovation, and the process of transforming spaces. I’m also happy to share recommendations about the city, its architecture, and cultural life.

For many years I have been immersed in dance, movement, yoga, meditation, and tantra. I’m curious to learn about the interests, passions, and experiences of my guests, and I enjoy sharing my own as well.

For me, hosting is about creating a space where people from different backgrounds can meet, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another.

    Accommodation

You get a nice private room in the house with double bed. Suited for someone alone or as a couple.
You can use the facilities in the house. We will be living together (I like it tidy)

Food can be discussed when being in contact. Breakfast can be foreseen and depending how many hours work exchange lunch or dinner (so 2 meals a day). There is a kitchen that can be used.

I like to discuss meals and hours of help exchange once we are in contact to see what resonates for both.

No food is included (or it can be discussed depending on the hours)

There’s much I can share about the city once you are here. You can park a car if necessary for free a bit further away from the house.
Public transportation is very accessible closeby. You can rent a bicycle, and maybe sometimes use mine.
Im in a period in which I value a calm atmosphere.
