Description
This is a project that started 5 years ago as a business of kayak rentals, since it was a beautiful spot thats close to the entrance of rio istiam. since then it has developed to a popular beach spot and developed into a restaurant and a bar with beautiful chill zones around it. in the past year another partner was joined to the business and it became a project thats owned by 2 locals, Jose luis and Rudy, and 1 foreigner - Ishay. That move started paving paving the way to a big remodelation of the project and the plan to construct a beach hostel/hotel with a co-work space, yoga deck on the water, sunset platform high on the trees, natural pool, vooleyball court, ping pong and foosball and an impressive garden with both dorms and private rooms around it.
This ambitious project has started to take form since september 2022 and since then we managed to finish the construction of the new bar and restaurant and are soon going to develop our next projects, when the construction of the first dorms would take place in coming may 2023.
The beach has pricesless sunsets and offer kayak tours that allow you to explore the flora and fauna of the island in depth. we want to grow this family vibe project into the perfect cozy backpacker beach and find people that can contribute to its development.

It is located in the beautiful beach strip that hires a local team of employees with that function with a family vibe, all towards the goal of meeting the visitors and give them the best experience they can get as they take our kayaks to explore rio istiam. its an opportunity to dive into the local culture of the people of ometepe while getting to be close to nature.
Help
We are looking for a graphic designer and a social media manager to help us boost our social media presence and help us create some content and graphic designs for our project. a pro-active person that have the passion to create and loves nature and can help us improve the digital side of the business that was largely neglected so far.

x helping creating graphic designs we can use for publicity and flyers

the volunteers have a proper specious house all for themselves which is located 8 minutes walking from the beach of playa mangos which has 3 beds, a kitchen, an outdoor garden and a living room. volunteers would recieve 2 meals a day which they can order from our restaurant on the beach (delicious vegeterian and non vegetarian options alike). they are also recieving 15% on all food and drinks and free use of the kayaks.
What else ...
The island of ometepe is full of options to enjoy and explore. the area is called merida and its located 15 minutes drive from the waterfalls of san ramon and 10 minutes drive from the entrance path to the hike of the maderas volcano and on the other side 15 minutes ride from balgue the other touristic zone is where you could participate in plenty of workshops, yoga classes and music jams for free (most are held in 2 places called zopilote and el pital), as well as enjoying the restaurants and cafes of the island. on saturdays there is a farmers market on the beach which is between balgue and playa mangos, 12 minutes by car/motorcycle which is also very recommended. there are two natural pools around the island, one is called ojo de agua and the other one is located in finca magdalena.
other activities you can enjoy in the island are horse riding, kite surfing(ometepe kitesurf school) and last but not least, kayaking in rio istiam from playa mangos which is free for all volunteers.
