Description
I live and work on a sailing catamaran in the Mediterranean, currently based in
Gżira, Malta. I'm looking for open-minded, curious people who want to slow down
and experience something genuinely different, life on the water, on your own terms.
I typically host one guest or a couple at a time, which keeps things personal,
relaxed, and comfortable for everyone on board. Whether you want to dive into
sailing and seamanship, or simply enjoy the sea, the sunshine, and the freedom to
explore at your own pace, both are equally welcome here.
I can share what I know about sailing, navigation, freediving, spearfishing, and
stand-up paddleboarding. But the real gift is simpler: waking up to the sound of the
sea, cooking together after a day out on the water, and feeling genuinely free.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Sailing the Mediterranean means a constantly changing backdrop, new harbours, local
markets, hidden coves, and coastal villages most travellers never reach. I love sharing
what I know: how to read the wind, handle a boat, navigate, and explore underwater.
And I'm just as curious about you, your stories, your perspective, and what you bring
to the boat. Every guest teaches me something new, and that exchange is what makes
this kind of life so rewarding.
Help
Life on a boat always has something to keep you busy: cooking meals together, keeping
the boat clean and tidy, general maintenance, and the occasional errand in port. It's
light, shared work, and a natural part of being a genuine part of life on board rather
than just a visitor.

Accommodation
You'll have your own private cabin with a double bed, your space to retreat to
whenever you need it. The cabin has a door, so your privacy is fully respected at all times.
We share one bathroom, which works smoothly with just one guest or a couple on board.
Meals are shared, and there's always a quiet spot on deck when you want time to yourself.
What else ...
When I'm working (Remotely 9am to 7pm), the boat and everything on it are yours. Snorkelling gear,
the paddleboard, help yourself. Once you're comfortable on the water, the dinghy is
yours to explore independently.
Some days we adventure together; some days we each go our own way and meet back for
sundowners and dinner. That rhythm, freedom with good company, is one of the best
things about life on the water. Sometimes we also meet up with the sailors around us.
