Edward was awesome. From time he landed, he was open to new experiences, started great conversations with everyone, was friendly and very helpful throughout his whole stay. I really enjoyed hearing about his travels to other like-minded farms in other parts of the world. Was cool to see the connections. He was very familiar and comfortable with

Super versatile set of skills as he left my farm to go work on restoring a wooden boat. And he has his own youtube channel! How cool is that. Great video production.
And he's definitely a connector of people. The kind of person that has such a great network he's connected to so it's easy for him to connect you with artists, coffee growers, nature educators, etc.
I strongly recommend Edward and hope that he revisits my farm soon!

Shelli was an exceptional host. She met me at the airport with a great big smile and warm hug. Shelli is super friendly and engages in meaningful conversation. She embraces the importance of environmental awareness in her actions, thoughts and words. Shelli's punctuality and ability to coordinate on many levels is impressive. Her ability to

The little farm is on the north side of the island only 100 meters from the bay. She brought me to various areas and talked about the rich culture of the island and her 7 generations of ancestry as far back as the slave trade and liberation of the place she calls home. The farm has an abundance of chickens, which were incredible and followed us around like pets, waiting to snack on the juicy morsels that we're exposed while cultivating the soil for the above ground garden beds.
Shelli's deli and coffee shop were a highlight of the trips made to the marina. The ice cream is delicious.
We made wooden coasters and yard furniture from the fallen trees.
Shelli is an amazing host and made sure my stay was beyond what I anticipated.

I'm so proud to have worked with this young woman as my public relations intern recently, who represented my brand as a vendor at the Caribbean POSH Women’s Conference, as well as highlighting through social media my ongoing work in agriculture across the U.S. Virgin Islands. 🌴🐝
At these events, we had the opportunity to not only showcase but

Through strategic networking and active engagement on social media, she has been able to bring a growing customer base to the table—quite literally—while spotlighting the incredible work of local farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs across the islands. Every interaction was a chance to celebrate the land, uplift the people who cultivate it, and deepen our collective investment in sustainable, community-driven agriculture.
Grateful workaway connected us on the platform to connect, educate, and inspire while continuing to build bridges between agriculture, entrepreneurship, and empowerment in the Caribbean.

I worked with Shelli for Caribbean Posh Weekend and Dept of Agriculture.
I worked with Shelli and Caribbean Posh to expand their network and communicate their messages to multiple different audiences via news networks and social media platforms.
I also worked as a vendor for their conference in June 2025 to highlight agriculture in the US virgin

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to have been a vendor with Caribbeanposh for the weekend! What an incredible event!
As a marketing and social media professional, I got to expand my network to include so many new regions of the world and I look forward to the work we are able to continue to do together!
This event is almost a decade old, and it inspires me as an #event coordinator and #community builder to continue to bring together people from all walks of life.
I have no words to describe how this weekend made me feel and I'm glad that I was able to get a glimpse into the #Caribbean and the powerful women who represent it. I met women from St. Lucia, St Thomas and St Croix, St Cruz, and Jamaica. All of them were amazing!!
The heritage and culture representation here made me proud of my origin story!
The agricultural work that Shelli Brin and family owned and operated project is doing is extremely important.
I will be taking home new skills in understanding land and gardening and agricultural production, thanks to them!

This was my first workaway experience.
Shelli is absolutely wonderful! I am a bit late to my review due to already thinking I left it - anyway, Shelli will dive right in with you and begin teaching in a unique way. My partner and I unfortunately had to leave drastically earlier than originally planned due to health reasons. Shelli was extremely

Not forgetting to add, after picking us up from the airport she had picked up pizza and gave us a tour of the island.
Once arriving to our new home, she gives us a tour of the space and then brought us a ton of supplies. Wonderfully accommodating. While at Shelli's the walk to the beach is relaxing, although it's undeveloped, it's truly a hidden gem as there's typically nobody there. It's nice to sit in a camping chair or on a good Boulder nestled in the sand. Great view of neighboring islands!
one thing I must say, if you arrive here, look to traveling with or buying a bicycle or look into car rentals ahead of time. If you have no car, it is a bit of a hike into town up a steep hill. if you do this walk however, turn around often because the views get prettier the higher you go!
Before concluding, I must say once again - this is an extremely great opportunity to grow, you'll help a wonderful person with a an admirable drive to grow her vision and give back to her community in ways she can. Her farm will feel like home to you, whether you're there for 1 or 100 days!
-- also the chickens will become some of your best friends.

This was my first Workaway experience, and I couldn't have asked for better! Great location and people, and I really enjoyed the work. Shelli loves and believes in what she does, and it really shows!
