    Description

Our dream has come true - in June 2019 we moved from Prague to a country house in the charming region at the foot of the Jizera mountains just 1 km from the Polish and some 24 km from the German border. It's me - Sabina, my partner Honza, 11 year old daughter Tula and 1 lovely old dog and 2 cute cats.
Since then we tuned into the local community and made the house and garden livable and lovable, but now a larger reconstruction is ahead - that's why we need your help :-)

Honza is a passionate gardener, so you can join him in our garden and learn about "no dig" gardening and permaculture. Sabina likes to dance and do contact improvisation and is happy to share those activities with you. We both also like yoga, meditations and similar exercises, and are fond of creative arts and crafts too.
The region is charming, with rolling mountains close by, where you can go hiking, biking, have a swim in the pond just 10 minutes away or visit a nearby spa. There is an active group of people in the village who endeavour to enhance community life and sustainability, including a CSA based farm, democratic school project, cultural association and many more.

    Accommodation

Depending on the number of workawayers, you will have your own room in the attic, or share it with one other workawayer. The house is about 100 years old and we've only just moved in recently, so please don't expect luxury :-) However, you can look forward to a cosy room (with woodstove) and three shared vegetarian meals a day.
