    Description

Hello and welcome to our family! We are dynamic, open-minded, and full of positive energy. My name is Maria, and together with my husband Gerardo, we have two wonderful children: Raffaele, who is almost 7 years old, and Océane, our 2-year-old daughter.

I studied linguistic mediation, while Gerardo is a computer scientist. We've been fortunate to travel and live abroad for work, spending six enriching years in France. This experience has greatly enriched us from linguistic, social, and cultural perspectives.

Our projects and organization reflect our family values of openness, inclusion, and positivity. We're excited to welcome Workawayers into our home and lives to share experiences and create lasting bonds. Most importantly, we want to instill in our children the importance of engaging actively with others, seeking new experiences and perspectives, and fostering an open mindset receptive to new ideas and ways of thinking.

Our weekly schedule is bustling, with Raffaele immersed in school, football, and swimming, while Océane loves exploring nature and interacting with animals at her grandparents' farm.

Currently, we reside in Caposele, a quaint village in Alta Irpinia, located in southern Italy's Avellino province, Campania region. Our village offers tranquility away from city bustle, perfect for mental relaxation and reconnecting with nature. Life here follows the rhythm of seasons and agricultural cycles. Each month brings different tasks, from land cultivation and vegetable planting in spring to hay and wheat harvesting in summer and that of the grapes in autumn. November marks the olive harvest, yielding our precious oil.

Though we're nestled away, major cities like Avellino, Salerno, and Naples are just an hour or two away and easily accessible by train or bus at reasonable prices.

We could talk endlessly about the local cuisine and delights these lands offer, but nothing beats experiencing them firsthand.

You're welcome to join our family for an authentic and enriching experience. We eagerly await meeting you and sharing all our family and culture have to offer.
