    Description

    Hi there,

We are Yuka (Japanese) and Glen (Australian). We live in this magical place called Currumbin Valley located in Gold Coast with our children Hana(6)and Sara (3).Every fortnightly Glen’s older children(18,15)come to spend time with us.
There is a creek and famous Currumbin Rock pools that you can swim or relax with the sound of water right across the road from us. 15 min drive from beaches and 20min drive from the airport.

    * At this stage we will be much appreciated the help with house cleaning, gardening and other relevant tasks outside and child minding.
We homeschool our children and they love to play in the nature and nature craft, leaning new skills. Who loves being outside and can show our children some outside play skill and nature knowledge. They love imaginative play, art works and music. We try to parent with hints of Stiner education and Montessori methods. Anyone can show them outside play skills, enjoy loose parts play and artist and musician are very welcome! We have a guitar and piano in cafe dawn stairs.
We also need help with general house chores, cleaning, gardening and some other job are available.

The accomodation will be a semi private studio space down stairs ( shared bathroom and kitchen with us) and meals in exchange 20-25 hrs of work a week.

We look forward to meeting people from all over the world who are independent, and reliable who can share the joy of living life.
IT IS NOT A PLACE FOR WHO ALWAYS NEEDS AN INTERNET ACCESS AND DIGITAL GADGETS TO KEEP YOURSELF BUSY. We strictly limit screen time inside our house. We also DO NOT have wifi access. Please be prepared to immerse yourself in the nature and be at present.
We enjoy swimming in the creek and beaches. We have young children so who enjoys kid’s company is a must! Our children always would love your company!

We can pick you up from a bus stop in the area and also help you with the transportation if you don’t have your own vehicle.
If you are a Japanese person and not confident with the language, Yuka can assist you with the language if you wish.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
We look forward to meeting you.

    Thank you.
