Description
My husband and I live on a small farm in North West Saskatchewan, Canada located near the Boreal Forest and surrounded by lakes on all sides. If you like quiet then this is a great place to experience nature, with our moose, deer, elk and occasional bear in the area. It’s paradise to us!

Out our back door we have numerous hiking trails, if you're a golfer we have a golf course 2 miles from our home, there are skating and curling rinks for the winter, there is skiing and snowboarding within easy driving distance, Fishing in the area is fabulous and within 30 minutes in all directions of our home for both winter and summer seasons. If you've never fished on ice its a different experience than during the summer.
What would your Canadian dream look like? Let us know and we will see if it’s available in our immediate area. There are multiple rodeos, hockey games, curling tournaments.
We do eat a mixture of wild and domestic meat in our area, so perhaps new food is something you'd like to experience.Help
We lead very busy lives, so the "to do list" is also never ending. Whether it's painting a building, mending a fence, washing a window, clearing deadfall or landscaping chores. Some days that just means a good cleaning around the house as well.

Our home has two spare bedrooms on their own level with a semi private bathroom ( 2 bathrooms are available in the house). There is a downstairs living room that could be used or maybe you'd rather spend time in ours. Be warned my husband enjoys his hockey time on tv.
Meals can be together or on your own, or a combination. We love to try new foods!
There is a reading room if that's something you enjoy.
Please note we do not smoke, and do not allow drugs (including our recently legalized marijuana). We also do not have alcohol on the premises. If you'd like to drink please feel free at other locations in our area. What else ...
Our area does not provide public transportation, but we will do our best to ensure that you are never "landlocked."
We love our outdoor time so weather permitting ie cold, we can be found out side with our horses. There are a number of unique historical sites in our area if that interests you. Small museums, local artists.
If you’re a biker I do have one available.
There is kayaking available in the area.
We do have 2 cats in our home, let's face it we live in their house.
I currently have 3 horses, one retired and two in training. If you like to work with horses you are welcome.A little more information

They are far too modest about their skills and knowledge.
The things they accomplished on and off the “to do list” was nothing short of amazing. Not to mention how meticulous they are in their work and even cleaning up after. Although we joked… read more
Our "to do" list has been drastically reduced and I can't tell you how much we appreciate that.
Every task you took on was never an obstacle; even removing wire that was attached to trees and in the ground 30+ years ago. You never once complained or… read more
