We are looking for volunteers with experience in the following fields:

Cooking, Landscaping, Gardening, Home Renovation, Carpentry & Painting, Electrician, Web Development (Wordpress) and Marketing. Please see our website at mistica-andina.com.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are an alternating community of dedicated gardeners, builders, staff and volunteers who all share a passion for organic, non-GMO food, alternative farming disciplines, ecologically balanced business and the beauty and magic of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We study metaphysical and spiritual practices like Yoga and Meditation, Astrology and NLP and more. We host and participate in plant medicine ceremonies like Ayahuasca, Santo Daime and Wuachuma. We prefer volunteers over 24. We ask that you have experience with one of the skills we have mentioned above. We prefer stays OVER 2 MONTHS or more, although we consider shorter stays for skilled people. It's a plus if you are relocating to this area. We prefer that you speak at least some basic Spanish.

We are located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas which is primarily an indigenous culture, speaking Quechua and Spanish. We are surrounded by ancient Incan ruins throughout the Sacred Valley. The culture of this valley dates to Pre-Incan times. In the environment, travellers can learn about ancient Incan or current Quechua cultures. On the farm, travellers can learn organic farming, permaculture and bio-intensive disciplines, metaphysical studies, plant medicines and producing natural products.

We are located in the center of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We are at 2900 metres/ 9600 ft. elevation in the Andes mountains. We are 1 hour from Cusco, and 1 hour from Ollantayatambo where you catch the 2 hour train to Macchu Picchu. We are surrounded by ancient Incan waterways and terraced farming which is actively used today and has been in continual use since pre-Incan times. Incan and pre-Incan ruins are scattered throughout the valley. This region is the original source of tomatoes, potatoes and many other varieties we take for granted (there are 4500 varieties of WILD potatoes in this area). In fact, this area was the farming and food storage center for the entire Incan empire (Bolivia to Ecuador). The soil, water and sun in this region produce continual crops all year.
