    Description

    - Hello! We are Stefania and Andrea, a young couple with our two young children. We have self-built our house with natural materials. Andrea is an architect and has been designing our house using straw bales as a material is for 10 years
We are a family that lives in a simple yet full and satisfying way, taking away rather than adding.
We try to make our lives sustainable every day, asking ourselves what we can do to reduce the impact on our environment.
Located 30 km north-east of Turin, near the small village of Mathi, our house is self-built with straw bales
    .
    - Surrounded by chestnut trees, birch trees, hazelnut trees and aromatic plants, the property is located in the valley
    .
-We do many different things here.
We produce honey and grow a constantly expanding vegetable garden, just for our own needs.
We have a small orchard for us
    We have 4 hens
We have a dog, Golden Retriver, called Samba, who is very docile and a cat Oliver
We have an apiary with about 30 bee families.
We breed them using respect-based methods, inspecting them and with constant
effort to create a healthy environment for them.
In our garden there is also a small pond with frogs, dragonflies and other animals. A true oasis for biodiversity.

We are passionate about vegetarian, macrobiotic and fermented cuisine and would love to share and learn new recipes from around the world!

We want to build on self-sufficiency, healing nutrition, the use of sustainable products
and natural agriculture inspired by the message of the Japanese writer
