    We live in paradise! Only one person to apply please....
    Our holiday home is Port Douglas, far north Queensland, Australia, one hour drive north of Cairns. Our home is a two bedroom villa surrounded by tropical gardens and a private pool, 100 metres walk to 4 Mile Beach. We live close to the Daintree Rainforest (access by car) and the Great Barrier Reef. We are a friendly, well travelled, non smoking, retired couple escaping Sydney for a more relaxing lifestyle. We lead a busy life and enjoy the great outdoors playing golf, tennis, table tennis, swimming, cycling, walking to name a few. We also enjoy the occasional game of cards and board games. We love to host interesting, hard working travellers who wish to explore this beautiful part of Australia.
    WE are NOT vegetarians so we ask that vegetarians do not apply for this position as we don't cater for this type of diet.
    This is a non smoking household so we ask that only non smokers apply for this position.

    We have hosted many wonderful people over the years. We are friendly and helpful hosts and will help you enjoy the time you share with us. We are very knowledgeable about Australia and the area we live in. We can make suggestions about amazing experiences to be had in tropical north Queensland. We love to enjoy and share beautiful, healthy meals.

    If you love to garden, love to prepare healthy food and don't mind some house work then you would be most welcome. We ask you help 5 hours per day, 5 days per week in exchange for full board. You MUST BE A NON SMOKER to apply for this opportunity. We do not cater for a vegetarian diet so please don't apply if you are a vegetarian.

    Port Douglas is known for Four Mile Beach, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, the planet's largest reef system. The Great Barrier Reef teems with colourful marine species and is a renowned snorkelling and scuba-diving destination. We are 2 minute walk to the famous Four Mile Beach plus many other local attractions are within walking distance of our home, Sea Temple, Palmer Sea Reef Golf course and the award winning Wild Life Habitat.
