Description
We are a Glamping surfcamp in Porto in the north of Portugal, we have a very nice setup with tipi tents in a camping park 5 mins walk to the beach.
We´re looking for nice, happy, open-minded, sociable people to join our team of 10. Our team is almost complete but we still have 1 spot left (see below) for the right people to join us this season 2024, from mid-June to the end of September.
We give priority to people who have experience camping, love the outdoors, are easy going, and are used to living with other people in a community. Someone who is always willing to help and contribute to the team's well-being and is not afraid of working and having fun
If you can play the guitar and sing a few songs it would be a big bonus.

You'll be part of our surf camp team of 10. You'll get accommodation and a wage based on the hourly minimum wage in Portugal for the hours worked (around 15/20h per week), you are also able to join the yoga classes, surf lessons, and use the surf equipment (wetsuit and surfboards). At night we play music, games or chat around the campfire,

Help
We are looking for the following workawayers to join our team this summer.
- 1 Workawayer, responsible for the general maintenance of the surf camp and driving the guests to the beach.
You´ll be helping with light duty maintenance tasks (fixing and cleaning tents, fixing bikes, ensuring the surf camp is looking nice and tidy) as well as driving a 9-seater van with guests to the beach a few times a week.
It would be great if you could surf and/or skate or looking to learn surfing.
Preference will be given to workawayers that can stay the full 3 months).
We're only looking at applications of workawayers over 25 that can stay the full term. MUST speak English and have a valid European drivers licence.

Accommodation
You'll live in a small tipi tent just for you for the duration of the project with a bed with a very comfortable mattress, bedding and bed linen.

We have a car on camp that can be used by the crew to go out and explore the area, go to the local skatepark or visit different surf spots.
