Description
Hi there and thanks for checking out our profile.
I am Jorge, a paisa entrepreneur and tourism enthusiast from Colombia.
Here, amidst the mountains, and just outside the beautiful colonial town of Jericó, we have constructed the very first rural co-working space in Colombia. Here, digital nomads and remote workers come from all over the world to work, relax and enjoy paisa culture.
The co-working space is the heart of this place, but there’s more. Next to the co-working space there’s a hostel, located in a historical building, which used to be the center of a coffee farm. The hostel has private rooms and shared dorms. Furthermore we have studio apartments for those who want to stay for weeks, months or even longer.
We are trying to be as self-sufficient and sustainable as possible. This is still an ongoing project as far as we’re concerned, so we’re always looking for new volunteers who want to help us and enjoy that relaxed paisa lifestyle.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here, we are open to people who want to explore new skills and abilities. You can practice Spanish and other languages. We want to share our knowledge and want to know more about the knowhow of our volunteers.
Volunteers can explore the surroundings and enjoy all Jericó has to offer. You can chill in the hammocks, take a swim in the river and reap all the benefits of our co-working space.
We organize hikes, horseback riding tours and much more! Volunteers get to know local life, meet our friends in town and get to know indigenous cultures.Help
We’re always looking for new volunteers to meet, work and exchange ideas with. We believe in our dream: which is making remote working in paradise possible for everybody. And we really want to share that dream with as much people as possible.
Right now we’re looking for volunteers who can help us market our experiences, co-working, hostel and other services on social media. We also need volunteers to manage the reception and receive guests. We can also ask you to help maintaining the hostel by doing daily tasks like cleaning or constructing. We also host activities like Yoga, Movie Night, Pizza Night and more. So we're always on the lookout for people with yoga and gardening skills.
If you have any other talents, for example if you’re an artist, yoga teacher, video-maker, drone pilot, theatre enthusiast, designer or entomologist, please feel free to contact us. Doing something else, but are you thinking you’d fit in our team? Better even and just send us a message!
NOTICE: We only accept workawayers who can stay a minimum of 4 weeks or longerLanguages

You could see this place as a little international hub in the mountain ranges. You can always practice Spanish and English, but depending on the volunteers and guests we accomodate, you can also practice other languages.Accommodation
You will be staying in a separate volunteer house with rooms with single and double beds, a kitchen, toilets, hot showers, laundry and a nice garden and the most incredible sunrise every day. There are private and shared rooms, but which room you get depends on how many volunteers we have at the moment of your arrival. We try to save the private rooms for couples.
There is access to the co-working area (with fiver optic) and the other hostel facilities. We provide you with ingredients for your breakfast. There is a cleaner and cook and a manager from 7 am until 4 p.m.
Furthermore there is 50% with tours and experiences operated by us, free yoga and permaculture lessons. Food in town is extremely cheap. We can recommend you some stores of course. Also there’s the possibility of ordering your groceries by moto-taxi, so you don’t have to go into town if you don’t feel like it.What else ...
Jericó is full of culture. There are a lot of activities at the main square and every weekend there’s a local market where you can check out original Colombian products. There are a lot of tasty food stands and nice restaurants. In Jericó there are also a lot of museums, a cultural center with live music and a lot of cafés, where you can chill and have a beer or an authentic Colombian cup of coffee.
If you love nature, then you can eat your heart out, for this is perfect spot to go on hikes, explore nature, go bird watching and climb moutains. it is also extremely quiet and peaceful, which is so lovely after being in a bustling city.A little more information
