    ===============
    I’m looking for people right now, preferably with a bit of experience in permaculture, building or general eco ideas 🤩
    ===============

    Hello lovely travellers!

    My name is Camille, 35, half English, half French. I’ve recently bought a farm with a hectare of land in the southwest of France, perched atop a hill with beautiful views over the valleys. My project is to transform this little haven into an eco friendly retreat center one day, but I have a lot of work before that 😅. I plan to renovate the house first but also set up water catchment systems, solar panels, compost toilets, a permaculture garden etc to live as harmoniously as possible with our earth.

    We would be based at my parents’ house 10mins drive away until the place is remotely liveable. They live in a very rustique, quirky house with a dog and a cat, a swimming pool and even a jacuzzi ✨ Mum is a retired chef and loves cooking for guests 🥰

    On Saturday and Sundays I can show you around nice villages close by, go for a bike ride or take the dog for a walk in the pretty countryside 😊

    I look forward to hearing from you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information!

    Much love,
    Camille ❤️

    The farm was owned by French farmers who lived very simply and hadn’t updated their house from the 60s so there is a lot to modernise. I’m gutting the place at the moment but will soon be attacking some important jobs such as :
    - all indoor renovations - rendering walls, laying new floors, plumbing, making kitchens, bathrooms etc (a lot to do 😉)
    - outdoor plans - making a simple outdoor kitchen, gardening : mowing, strimming, making a permaculture vegetable/fruit garden (there are already some fruit trees), harvest walnuts in autumn and make oil, a compost toilet, septic tank system, have a small holding of a few animals, setting up bell tents…

    I have given an overview of the whole project but immediate jobs would be making the house liveable!
