I've traveled in several warm places also outside of japan, ...actually I am geek of islands for years and years... but I came to the main land after hopping islands. After taking many spots on road, I found this place. This is unusually not an island, The location you will arrive, you can enjoy the sea if you like beaches without crowded people. The sea water usually has transparency if the weather hasn't been in a stormy time around your stay.
The mixture of random international meeting helps the world to be more in peace, this is what I believe. I choose the choice have this opportunity to meet different culture people from oversea. But these days people let something necessary to learn put behind. In their words saying nice things but no action. I enjoy people more with movements with good reason. That motivate me and I find them cool.
I traveled different areas like Asia, South-Central America, North America, Europe, Old Soviet union, a few Arabic countries and Oceania. In the recent year I tried to get know the eastern Caribbean islands and eastern europe. The country I had really many good lessons was in Tonga in some ways. Isolated country from everywhere, islands group have distance each other. The country condition is so special compare to the most of inhabitant countries.
And of course I, warm whether I definitely prefer.
I left the city many years ago, no regret. I have lived in very rural island, and had spent so many islands in different ways. So far what I like, island vanlife. My favorite. I notice that people in general has no time, we need to take care to save our time for the quality time... as well how not to worry too much. I am practicing how to maintain to be well in this reality.
I am on the base of idea not having more than I need or I will need. I am not a minimalist. I have to say I have still some attachment. Such as tools and daily use materials which I love to use often plus things for my lovery guests :) . And of course I enjoy using things I made by hand. It would be so nice to encounter people similar minded. Seeing, the current human-being is so destructive to the earth even same to human-being, try to take as much as they can for own gain. I want to minimize my selfish actions to be here and to be myself. If you understand this somewhere from your heart, your stay here will be valuable not for only temporary period same as for me.

- About my preference to be honest, I prefer to welcome basically pescatarian, sushitarian, vegetarian or vegan. What I cook is non-meat. non-chicken.

If you consider to come to this Kinko-bay-side...
[From JR Kagoshima central station]
Once you arrived in JR Kagoshima central station, you can catch the taxi eventually with taxi GO apps 7km. You need to get Kamoike-port. From there you can accross the bay 25 min. 800 yen Tarumizu-port.
I can pick you up at Tarumizu-port.
Also 90 min by a local shuttle bus, direction to Furue or Tarumizu.You can ask me the time schedule when you are sure to come to the place.
[From Osaka or Tokyo]
There is an budget airline is called Skymark Peach air or Jetstar. There are flight from Osaka (Kanku) and Tokyo (Narita) to Kagoshima everyday, the flight cost will be somewhere between 5,000 - 10,000 yen one way.
[From Osaka by boat]
If you are traveller type of going all through the Japan, there is a ferry which departs in the late afternoon from Osaka, so the ticket to Shibushi port will cost around 10,000 yen one way, the ferry company is called sunflower. From there 45 min to Kanoya.
[By rent a car from the Kagoshima airport]
By car from the airport to my place takes 100min. July-Oct is the typhoon season here, so your arrangement will be changed if it hit on your flight schedule. Not often happens but just in case you know.

If you like to swim and snorkeling everyday, yes you can. The sea condition is dynamically changing all the time. The stay will give you the opportunity to see how the sky and sea keep changing so much. The beach is just here. As well we have SUP. Fishing stuff.
There is no supermarket or convini near here. Please bring some of your favorite stuff.
These years I work with woods just for fun project. Create something just for your needs. Some repairing is something we all should know how to do that. I am on the way to learn better.
If you are interested in making woods, but don't know how to start, I can guide you how to and what kind of tools are useful.

Here I need your help with digital video and the audio shooting project and the helps of renovation.
General small renovation or reparation projects will be daily up, every time I will make sure if you want to help or not, but it will happen regularly... I hope you don' mind and somehow you enjoy stuff like this. I do my best to respect your mood of the day. Let's communicate at the time.
