    Description

Hi everyone! We are Jonathan and Stefanie, an Israeli-Swiss Family with 3 boys aged 7,3 and 1.
After traveling (and volunteering at times) and moving from place to place it apears we are finally setteling down and fulfilling a dream of building our own house which we are realizing is quite a project :)
We live in Har Amasa, a small remote communal village located in the Yatir forest 20 minutes from the city of Arad and 40 minutes from the Dead sea.
Whoever wants to get some experience in building a house together with us or just help around the house and play with the kids will enjoy the peacful and cool suroundings with the opportunity to hike, bicycle or just relax and be a part of our family.

Travelers can benefit in gaining some experience in house building, hiking and exploring the area, being a part of our family and enjoying the cool weather as our village is in a relativley high altitude.
We also run a small Non Profit Israeli-Palestenian cooperation between Palestenian and Israeli Women of producing natural soaps from localy sourced products so we can possibly visit these people together which is a special experience.

As we are not experienced house builders, we are trying to build as simple as possible while meeting building code requirments so the house we are building is made out of light and relativey "green" materials.
No prior experience is needed because we are hiring local builders for the more complacted work.
We are also open for other help around the house like gardening, playing with the kids, etc.
