  Our place is also suitable for familiarizing yourself with new, curious, hesitant first experiences in another location/in another country/with unknown people.
  
  There are new tasks to discover every day, sometimes a brilliant find in a garbage can brings a whole new project to the foreground...My Life is a combination of movement and creativity.
  
  I have been living in Portugal for more than 10 years, I am now over 60 and I am ready to share my knowledge and experience with you.
  As I am physically limited and my partner is working on other projects, I need your help / support / especially your creativity. I have a small property (2500m²) with chickens, geese, dogs and cats. I am working on the possibilities of a natural garden/forest garden/no dig/permaculture in rudiments.... Another big concern for me is the topic of pre+/up+ recycling.
  I am happy about every fellow human being who wants to make their own contribution to life or is still looking for what their own contribution could be. I don't ask for strict work commitments, but am able to get involved with whatever you can give.
  The place where we live has a connection to the public transport network (1-2 times a bus on weekdays) / two small shops/ 3 cafés and about 100 permanent residents. It is rather quiet and suitable for recharging your batteries/ finding a new direction or just being.
  
  Dear Workawayer...also this year (2025) I am trying to optimise myself/ my property even more/ I would like to have a dry separation toilet built from plastic bottles/ a shower and washing area with hot water from solar energy/ an optimised composting area/ the production of biochar for my own Terra Preta? / an optimised planting of the slope of the property combined with the creation of further water collection ditches / an earth cellar? / the creation of several rest areas / help with the testing / development of alternative forms of nutrition and the corresponding planting/ The main house including the outbuildings must be restored with clay/lime....
  For all this I also need your creative ideas !!!!
  
  
  
  Ich lebe seit mehr als 10 Jahren in Portugal, bin inzwischen über 60 Jahre und bereit mein Wissen und meine Erfahrungen mit Euch zu teilen.
  Da ich körperlich etwas ! eingeschränkt bin und mein Partner an anderen Projekten arbeitet, benötige ich eure Hilfe /eure Unterstützung/ganz besonders eure Kreativität. Ich habe ein kleines Grundstück(2500m²) mit Hühnern, Gänsen;Hunden; Katzen. Ich beschäftige mich mit den Möglichkeiten eines naturnahen Gartens/Waldgarten/no dig/ Permakultur in Ansätzen... Ein weiteres großes Anliegen ist es mir auch das Thema Pre+/Up+ Recylcing .
  Ich freue mich über jeden Mitmenschen, der seinen eigenen Beitrag leisten möchte zum Leben oder noch danach sucht, was sein eigener Betrag sein könnte. Ich verlange keine strikten Arbeitseinsätze, sondern bin in der Lage mich auf das, was ihr geben könnt einzulassen.
  Der Ort, an dem wir leben hat eine Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz (1-2 mal werktags ein Bus) / zwei kleine Läden/ 3 Cafés und ca. 100 permanente Einwohner. Es ist hier eher ruhig und geeignet dazu Kraft zu schöpfen/ eine neue Ausrichtung zu finden oder einfach mal zu sein.
  
  Liebe Workawayer...auch in diesem Jahr( 2025) versuche ich mich/ mein Grundstück noch mehr zu optimieren/ ich wünsche mir eine Trockentrenntoilette, gebaut aus Plastikflaschen/ einen Dusch- und Waschplatz mit Warmwasser aus Sonnenenergie/einen optimierten Kompostierplatz/ die Herstellung von Pflanzenkohle für die eigene Terra Preta?!/eine optimierte Bepflanzung des Grundstückhangs verbunden mit der Anlage weiterer Wasserauffanggräben/einen Erdkeller?/die Anlage mehrerer Ruhezonen/ Hilfe bei der Erprobung/ Erarbeitung alternativer Ernährungsformen und den entsprechenden Anpflanzungen...Für all das brauche ich auch eure kreativen Ideen !!! Das Haupthaus incl. Neben gebäude müssen mit Lehm/ Kalk restauriert werden.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Anyone who is open to a new experience will find something here on our place and especially in the Alentejo that will take them further in their quest. Anyone who has already found will feel empowered here.
  I love the exchange with other people, the input and the impulses we can give each other. I am grateful to still be open to new ideas and look forward to meeting you ! I am looking for answers to find a correction of the relationship between man and nature in harmony. ..... I do not know the best solution, nor do I have a concept for success, but I am ready to look for solutions and hope for your help...
  
  Jeder, der offen ist für eine neue Erfahrung wird bei uns und im Alentejo etwas finden, dass ihn auf seiner Suche voran bringen wird.
  Jeder, der schon gefunden hat, wird sich hier bestärkt fühlen.
  Ich liebe den Austausch mit anderen Menschen, den Input, sowie die Anstöße die wir einander geben können. Ich bin dankbar dafür immer noch offen für neue Ideen zu sein und freue mich auf Euch ! ich suche immer nach Antworten , um eine Korrektur der Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Natur im Einklang zu finden.....ich kenne weder die beste Lösung, noch habe ich ein Erfolgskonzept, aber ich bin bereit nach Lösungen zu suchen und hoffe auf eure Mithilfe...

  Help

  You don't have to be able to do everything, but be willing to learn.
  Current tasks: Tending a vegetable garden; planning and planting a new one; laying irrigation; tending lots of fruit trees; creating and planting new beds; weeding; scything; transplanting; grafting; all in good time of course!
  Laying new garden paths, repairing existing ones; repainting the garden shed and helping to build a new pond (maybe you have ideas on how this could work without plastic sheeting).
  some recycling projects ! : building a ‘door’ out of clear plastic bottles; restoring an old bench; making old tools usable again; building a compost toilet with sand-filled or clay-filled plastic bottles and a roof with clear plastic bottles (the first time I will try to build a house with plastic bottles - the phase of collecting bottles is already well advanced, filling is the next step). ..; renovations (painting, renewing plaster, restoring an old oven, would need to be done here and there and other things that need to be done that you might be interested in. ( is always flexible )
  
  Du musst nicht alles können, aber bereit sein zu lernen.
  Aktuelle Aufgaben: Einen Gemüsegarten pflegen; einen neuen planen und anlegen; Bewässerung verlegen; viele Obstbäume pflegen; neue Beete anlegen und bepflanzen; Unkraut jäten; sensen; umpflanzen; veredeln; natürlich alles zur rechten Zeit!
  Gartenwege neu anlegen, bestehende reparieren; Gartenschuppen neu streichen
  und ganz neu !
  bei der Anlage eines Teichs mithelfen( vielleicht habt ihr Ideen, wie dies auch ohne Plastikfolie funktionieren könnte).
  einige Recyclingprojekte ! : ein "Tür" aus durchsichtigen Plastikflaschen bauen; eine alte Bank restaurieren; alte Werkzeuge wieder gangbar machen; eine Komposttoilette mit sandgefüllten oder auch Lehm gefüllten Plastikflaschen und einem Dach mit durchsichtigen Plastikflaschen bauen (das erste Mal, dass ich versuchen werde, ein Haus mit Plastikflaschen zu bauen - die Phase des Flaschen sammelns ist bereits weit fortgeschritten, das Befüllen ist der nächste Schritt)...;
  Renovierungen (streichen, Putz erneuern, einen alten Backofen wieder herstellen, müssten hier und da gemacht werden und andere Dinge, die erledigt werden müssen, können, die euch interessieren würden. ( ist immer flexibel )

  Caravan for sleeping (no heating); we would like you to eat together in the evening; during the day you are welcome to cater for yourself, of course with the food available (you don't need to do the shopping yourself ;-)).
  Use of shared kitchen/ shared bathroom .
  
  Wohnwagen zum Schlafen ( keine Heizung); gemeinsames Essen am Abend erwünscht, tagsüber Verpflegung gerne in Eigenregie, natürlich mit vorhandenen Lebensmitteln( Ihr braucht nicht selber einkaufen dafür ;-)).
  Nutzung der Gemeinschaftsküche/ Gemeinschaftsbad .

  What else ...

  Without your own car, you are dependent on public transport...on weekdays there is certainly a bus in the morning, sometimes at lunchtime.... You can experience pure nature directly on site...cultural events are rather rare. Joint excursions are an option.
  
  ohne eigenes Fahrzeug seid ihr auf die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel angewiesen...werktags gibt es morgens sicher, mittags manchmal einen Bus.... Natur pur könnt ihr direkt vor Ort erfahren...kulturelle Veranstaltungen sind eher rar vertreten. Gemeinsame Ausflüge sind eine Option .
