    Description

Jason and I started our company in 2015 and every year we grow a little bigger and bigger. We have a body art shop close to the beach where we offer henna&airbrush tattoos, hairwraps, beach braids, caricatures, face & body painting. Our season is from March-October with the busiest months being June and July. We are currently seeking 4 more dedicated creatives who would like to join us for our 2024 season doing mainly hairwraps/braids and airbrush/glitter tattoos. You will be scheduled 4 shifts per week from 11am-9pm. Transportation to&from work can be provided if you come without a vehicle. The shared accomodations provided for these positions are 2 in our converted skoolie and 2 in our 1976 Avion travel trailer, located at Beakertopia-about 20 minutes from the shop. Each has a kitchenette inside and a separate bathroom located outside of the campers. Please note that we invest an incredible amount of time, money, and energy into training each person to be able to perform this job. For that reason are only accepting applicants who are available to stay for our entire season (through at least mid August) We also offer a $1 raise every season you come back, if the job is a good fit and youre interested in working with us long term.

This is a beautiful 2.3 acre property in Bon Secour, AL that we purchased in 2020 to explore sustainability, alternative building methods, and permaculture. Due to the seasonal nature of this region we're able to devote half the year to our business and half the year to our land which allows for a symbiotic relationship for the 2 to serve one another simultaneously.

Our intention for this artist community is to bring like-minded people together and make the world a more beautiful place. It serves as our primary residence and also residence for seasonal workers&traveling artists when they come here. Every year we have the opportunity to employ around a dozen people to work with us during the tourist season, from March-October. It provides the possibility for friends from around the world to come live comfortably for free and even work to make some money while they’re here. If you’re seeking something long term, you're welcome to stick around after October when our focus shifts back to working on the property. Our goal for fall/winter '24 is to finish the aircrete domes we've started building and begin planting our edible food forest permaculture gardens!

We do not charge rent to live on our property and will provide transportation if you do not have a vehicle. We do eat some meals together occasionally but you will be responsible for your own food day to day.
If you are coming from outside of the USA, please message me to discuss arranging a work visa/permit for you. We have all the proper business insurance, we do not provide health insurance for employees.
