    Description

We are a family of four , we just moved to Catalunya less than a year ago. We bought a small house on the end of a relaxed neighbourhood, where the houses end and the Montseny nature reserve begins.
There are many small projects around the land and an extra pair of hands are always welcome. The work varies but is mainly garden maintenance and preparing the vegetable garden for the season.
Me and my wife are both artists and musicians and enjoy cultural interchange and quite evenings by the fire, indoors as well as outdoors.
The close by nature is a gift for those who like to take a moment to walk or climb, ride bicycles or run.
The place is not an agricultural farm, but we have a lot of knowledge to pass on in many different fields, and hopefully, together we can work the land and make it into a small paradise. We already call it home, and hope that you would feel the same way about the place too.
    Welcome

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Catalunya is a culturally rich and fascinating region, known for preserving its own language and traditions. This distinct identity is especially vibrant in the smaller towns and countryside, where you can truly feel the local spirit. Throughout the year, many unique festivals are celebrated with their own special customs and atmosphere.

The area is also alive with creativity—circus, theatre, music, and crafts are just some of the artistic expressions you’ll find happening all around.
As artists ourselves, we love to share and exchange knowledge. Whether it's music theory and practice, painting, sculpting, or simply jamming together, we’re always happy to connect through creativity.

Dreaming of creating a small piece of paradise, we’re slowly learning what our land needs and how to care for it. This summer, we’ll be setting up our winter vegetable garden—a great opportunity to learn, hands-on, how to build a garden from scratch.

We already have one compost box in place, and we’d love to build a second one right beside it. There’s also always something to do around the land—light maintenance, planting, mulching, or creative little projects—so you can find tasks that suit your interests and energy.

We also appreciate help in the kitchen—cooking, prepping meals, or sharing your favorite recipes. We love good food and the kitchen is often a cozy, shared space full of conversation.

We’re looking for curious, kind, and open-hearted people who enjoy working with their hands and spending time outdoors. In return, we offer a peaceful setting, good food, and the joy of shared purpose in nature.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We offer a few comfortable options for staying with us. There is a small, one-bedroom apartment detached from the main house, equipped with the basics: a kitchen, toilet, and shower. We also have a fully equipped campervan, and plenty of space for those who prefer to camp and connect more closely with nature.

Lunch and dinner are shared meals, often enjoyed together. Since our mornings are busy getting the girls off to school, we don’t offer shared breakfasts—but we’ll provide you with everything you need for a self-made breakfast, and there’s a cozy space in your unit to enjoy it at your own pace.

    What else ...

You must take in mind that we are a family living here, meaning we expect our guests to respect this by keeping the nights quiet, the gate shut, and no abusive behaviour would be tolerated.
Our place is a cycle distance from the train station, where you can get to Barcelona and Girona from in less than an hour. Otherwise, public transport is not at its best here.
If you like being in nature though, then you have already arrived .
