    Description

Be part of a purpose-driven foundation working at the intersection of tourism, education, and community development.

The foundation, born from our hotel in Rincón del Mar, Sucre, Colombia, has a clear mission: to mitigate the social impact of tourism by ensuring that local communities remain the protagonists of their own development. Our projects aim to create long-term, community-led change through education, entrepreneurship, and access to opportunities.

We’re currently seeking volunteers with specialized skills who can contribute meaningfully to our work and help us take our impact to the next level.

    We're especially looking for:

    - Fundraising professionals with experience in donor engagement, grant writing, or campaign strategy, to help us meet our fundraising goals.

    - Global NGO or social impact consultants, to support us in refining our organizational strategy, impact measurement, and scalability model.

    - Web Designers, Marketing Specialists or Community Managers ready to help us improve our communications.

    - Professionals with transferable skills in areas such as financial education, business modeling, digital marketing, or branding, to train and mentor local entrepreneurs.

    - Athletes or coaches passionate about youth development, to support our community football program.

    - Creative educators to design or facilitate workshops around life skills, digital literacy, or communication for local youth.

    - Media creators — photographers, videographers, or storytellers — who can help us document our work and share our impact with the world.

We’re not offering typical volunteer experiences — we’re looking for collaborators with purpose, who want to contribute their knowledge in service of something greater. In return, you’ll find deep connection, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to witness tangible change, in one of Colombia’s most beautiful coastal communities.

If you’re looking to combine your skills with impact, and support a foundation rooted in co-creation, sustainability, and equity, we’d love to hear from you.

P.D. Spanish language skills are important and most of our team speaks only Spanish.

Rincón del Mar is a vibrant Afro-Colombian fishing village where life moves to the rhythm of the sea, the sun, and the stories shared along the shore. While tourism has grown in recent years, the essence of the town remains rooted in community, tradition, and everyday simplicity.

Travelers will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in true Costeño culture: from the music, food, and language, to the warm hospitality of a community that is proud of its roots and genuinely open to sharing. You’ll learn not just about a place, but about a way of life that values joy, resilience, and connection.

Whether you're joining in a game of dominoes, getting your hair braided, or listening to the stories of local youth and entrepreneurs, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Colombia’s Caribbean identity, and the power of community-driven change.
