Description
This is a not-for-profit organisation that owns and manages the historically registered "eco-battleship", the former flagship of the acclaimed *Whale Wars* series. Together with her courageous crews, the vessel helped save more than 6,000 whales and played a significant role in bringing an end to illegal whaling in the Southern Ocean.
Today, while berthed in the heart of Melbourne's Docklands, the ship continues her mission of inspiring and educating people about ocean conservation. Visitors can enjoy guided tours, exhibitions, live music, wood-fired pizzas, community events, and more, with all proceeds helping support the ship's ongoing conservation, education, and outreach programs.
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our crew while the vessel is alongside (not underway). If you have skills or experience in maintenance, cleaning, cooking (especially wood-fired pizzas), event support, social media, hospitality, or simply a passion for making a difference, we would love to hear from you.
Come aboard, meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and help us continue the mission of inspiring and educating future generations about the importance of protecting our oceans.
Interested in joining the crew? Contact us today or visit the ship at Docklands to learn more about volunteer opportunities
