Description
Hello and welcome! We're Hayden, Valeria and our newest member Catalina. You'll find us in Waipapa, a 10 minute drive to Kerikeri and 20ish min drive to the numerous beautiful beaches in the Bay of Islands region. Our home is nestled at the end of a long driveway, with peaceful mountain views, giving you a sense of complete privacy and tranquility.
We also share our home with a friendly dog, an affectionate cat, 3 sheep, and 5 chickens—so there’s always a bit going on!
We're an easy going, friendly family that enjoy spending time in nature, going to the beach, swimming, hiking, eating yummy food and making the most of our little slice of paradise.
We have a queen bed with great views, yummy vegetarian meals and flexible work hours to work around your plans. We mostly need help with maintaining our property. Mainly things in the garden, some housework and the odd maintenance jobs. 4-5 hours of work, 5 days a week.
Must love cheeky toddlers!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Valeria was born in Colombia but has lived in NZ more than half her life. She was a vet nurse before being full time mum so has some good animal knowledge she can pass on.
Hayden is an Aussie and has lots of experience in building and is happy to share what he knows.
Together we've done a lot of travel, we love different cultures and learning from other travellers.

Accommodation
You will stay in the downstairs area of our home. We have a queen size bed with beautiful garden views and your own lounge to relax, with a fully equipped kitchen.
We have breakfast and lunch food you can help yourself to and we cook dinner each night, mainly vegetarian but sometimes we eat seafood. We have seasonal fruit available from the garden that you van help yourself from.
What else ...
The Far North has an abundance of beauty to discover. It would be best if you had your own vehicle to get around in, but Valeria is happy to take you into town when possible to explore.
Please no smokers.
