We are María and Alan a couple of Mexicans with a beautiful land in the mountains of Xico, Veracruz, Mexico and we are starting an Eco-village project based in permaculture, eco-yoga, deep ecology, arts, among others. We finish our house this year with natural construction, almost all of it is Made of stone from our land, strawbale, wood, and clay.
We have an Organization, were we lead yoga and movement education, permaculture, women´s circles and sometimes earth medicine ceremonies, where we invite elders to come and share.
María is a movement and yoga educator and a movement for trauma facilitator as well as a Transpersonal Psychologist in training, Alan is an Ornitologist and a conservationist, he leads proyects in the jungle of mexico with eagles.
We have two dogs, two sheeps, 3 cats (that live inside the house) and 10 chickens.

Workawayers will benefit for learning spanish, yoga (when the trainings are running), women´s circles, and learn from nature.
We are welcoming volunteers with experience in permaculture, natural construction, carpentry, farming, agroecology.
We are also looking for a volunteer that enjoys creating art, we want to build a mosaic garden and paths and a garden labyrinths.
We are just starting this project and need a Lot of helping hands with experience, also we have a very huge library if you are willing to self learn and put in practice.
Please if you dont have experience in any of these areas, we wont we able to host you. We welcome someone that know how to do things by themselves and offer proposals to do things in this land.
2020 - 2021 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED.
We do not eat meat, we do eat fish and eggs, so we also ask for volunteers to adopt the same diet. No drugs allowed.
We will provide a tent to sleep, bathroom, showers, we will provide food that you can cook your meal.
From our land there is a bus that takes you to Xico (town) and from xico you can take another bus to coatepec, or Xalapa. There are a lot of cultural events to assists, galleries, museums, etc. Also with more time you can go to the closest beach 1:30 min aprox, And if we are able we will take you with us in our free time.
There is no internet connection, we have no wi-fi, we live off grid, if you are looking to connect online you can do that on your free time, we live with no light, we rise with the sun and live with natural light.
