Description
My name is Sachithra, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping animals in need. I live on a property near Kadalukaani Para in Kerala, a stunning viewpoint where you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets.
Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of providing a home for many animals, and today, that dream has become a reality. Currently, I care for around 50 dogs, 40 cats, and a few chickens and ducks. My heart especially goes out to disabled dogs, whom I look after with extra attention and love. For the other animals, I am constantly looking for kind individuals or families who are willing to adopt them.
Many of the animals come to me after being found as strays, brought by locals, or sadly abandoned at my doorstep. I do my best to give them a safe and loving environment where they can heal and thrive.
If you’re an animal lover and a responsible person and want to make a difference, I’d love for you to join me. There is always something to do—caring for the animals, feeding them, helping with cleaning, or assisting in finding them forever homes. Your support means the world to me and the animals I care for.
Feel free to reach out and become part of this meaningful journey!
I have one important request, please be aware that there is always a lot to do here and your help is very much needed and important. We are here to make a change for these animals and it is not a place to hang out and hide from work. Please only apply when you are reliable and willing to work! It must not be everyday 4 hours, but the daily tasks that are there have to be finished. Thank you for your understanding!

We offer a small house for accommodation, built with natural clay bricks and covered with roof tiles, giving it a rustic yet charming feel. The house is still under construction but is equipped with basic amenities for a comfortable stay. Inside, you’ll find a table, chair, refrigerator, and a fan to keep you cool.
Bring your earplugs, as the dogs can get loud at night.
Outside the house, protected from the dogs, there is a small kitchen with a gas stove for cooking. Wi-Fi is also available to help you stay connected. The house comes with its own shower and toilet, located just outside. While simple, the space provides everything you need to relax and enjoy your time here amidst nature.
I provide three vegetarian meals a day, so you don’t have to worry about cooking if you don’t want to. However, there’s also a fridge and a stove available if you’d like to prepare something yourself. I’m happy to get any ingredients you need—just let me know!
Looking forward to having you here!A little more information
