PROJECTS SPRING SUMMER 2025 - We are looking 3 workawayers (couples ok) for April, May (4-6 week stay )and possibly, June, July and August for 1 -2 stays. We need general farm help. Spring Clean up, and help backing spices. Summer Months, getting hay, cleaning the chicken coop, koi ponds and lots of out door work.

Are you a world traveller looking for a unique and meaningful way to experience a new place? Join farm exchange worker and help us maintain our beautiful homestead in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island! From tending to our gardens and flower beds to care for our chickens and sheep, there's always something to do on our diverse and thriving farm.
We are looking for help packaging catnip, feeding and care for the sheep and chickens, and millions of random farming tasks, .
We enjoy sharing the love and connection to the earth through gardening, animal care and living in a peaceful setting.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR: People who have had many jobs and responsibilities before, have lived independently (or with roomies not parents). Late 20s and up. Can speak English well enough to have a casual conversation with, fun and enjoy farm life.
This is a farm and we process and eat our animals. For many years we were vegan and have added our own meat to our menu as we are working on creating a sustainable life, where we can live off of as much of the land as possible. We make most of our foods from scratch. Being a farm and in nature, the full cycle of life is part of everyday living, from death to birth.
We would love to have visitors to learn and grow with, in exchange for food and a place to stay we ask for 5-6 hrs a day 5 days a week. We are close to town 30 min walk, have 2 bicycles for travellers and occasionally we do day trips. You have lots of time for weekend trips or afternoon outings once the chores are completed.
You will stay in the main house with us, we have bedrooms rooms and bathrooms for travellers. We have a kitchen and offer many food choices. We eat together, and share the food preparation. If you are an amazing cook this would be added fun. We would love to add your recipes to the kitchen.
We get a-lot of interest so for your application TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY we ask for an introduction video with your application. We feel at video gives us a good sense of who you are before we both make time for a video call. Many Travellers have these in this in their profile, we accept links to videos on YT as well.

As a traveler you will have the opportunity to visit and help on a small 6 acre organic farm in Qualicum Beach. Learn how to care for chickens, fish and sheep. Grow organic food, plant edible gardens, and flowers, enjoy a peaceful piece of land that has many magical places you can tuck in a meditate or read a book.

Looking to see Vancouver Island, we are located 30 min walk to downtown Qualicum Beach. The farm is a tranquil park-like setting with birds and wildlife to enjoy, as well as its a working farm with Sheep, chickens, ducks and wild rabbits.
We are looking for help with, packing catnip, gardening, organizing, cooking, and cleaning. Feeding the sheep, fish, collecting eggs, caring for the yard and much more.

2.5 hrs (car) to Tofino, enjoyable 15min bike ride to the beach. Or stay on the property and enjoy the 6 acres of tranquil beauty. We are located close to the Qualicum Beach airport XQU, and will pick you up here when coming by plane.
