  Description

  We are an Italian-French family living in a small village in the Vallée d'Oeuil, in the central Pyrenees. at 1100m of altitude. Our house is surrounded by a large garden and by mountains.

  We are a yoga teacher and a mountain leader, and we would love to share our passions with the Workawayer. There will be as well possibilities to learn French or Italian.
  Since we are currently renovating an old grange in an eco-friendly way, if the Workawayer will be interested, she/he could eventually participate into this project and, of course, in gardening around the house. Regarding this point, if the Workawayer will be interested, she/he could learn permaculture techniques in gardening from our sister- and brother-in-law who partly use the garden to grow vegetables and aromatic herbs.

  Help

  We are looking for a "fille/garcon au pair" to help us taking care of our 2 children, a newborn and 3 yrs old, ideally starting from September/October 2024.
  Our older children will attend pre-school, hence most of the time we will need help with the newborn. Since I'll be breastfeeding and working from home, I'll be always present to take care of the newborn jointly with the "fille/garcon au pair".
  We need help for more than one year, on specific periods: from September to December 2024, then from March to July 2025, and from September to December 2025.

  I love speaking English. I learnt Portuguese when I spent 5 months in Brazil, so I'd be happy to practice it again.

  Accommodation

  The Workawayer will have her/his own room, with private toilet and bathroom (with shower). We will eat together for lunch and dinner. We are vegetarian, we eat eggs and cheese.

  What else ...

  We are 15 minutes away by car from Bagnères-de-Luchon where you can find all kind of services (supermarkets, library, cinema, shops, gym, café, thermal baths). The area is a great place for those who love outdoors activities (hiking, skiing, mountain bike, trail running, paragliding, climbing), even just leaving directly from our house.
  We are 30 minutes away by car from the border between French and Spain, perfect for short or long trips to visit Spain.
  From Bagnères-de-Luchon, there are buses allowing to reach the train station in Montréjeau (45min) from where you can travel to Toulouse (2h), or further to the Mediterranen sea or, in the other direction, to the ocean.
