    Description

    Hi,

    We are Eda and Cagri

We live on a 3000 square meter small farm in Bozalan Village, in the Gulf of Gökova, 50 km from Bodrum, one of Türkiye's most well-known and popular tourist destinations. It's peaceful, green, and full of birds and olive trees.

Our two setters, Shiva and Gogof, are very much a part of the family. But we also have three cows, many chickens, ducks, and geese.

We've planted various fruit trees on most of our land. We've also created a vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes on an 800 square meter section. We are planning to make our own wine. Please keep in mind that it is not a commercial property.

We plan to leave our busy work lives behind and settle here permanently within two years.

I studied Japanese Studies in Germany and worked in the energy sector in Türkiye afterwards. My wife, Eda, meanwhile, developed her skills as a yoga instructor after her university graduation. She had a more relaxed life than me. :))

In our 15 years together, we've done many international motorcycle tours, become yoga instructors, and practiced aikido and so on.

Here in Bozalan, we spend most of our time caring for the trees, plants, and animals in our garden; going on fishing and scuba diving trips in our boat; doing yoga; cooking delicious meals with our own naturally grown fruits and vegetables; sightseeing; and socializing with our friends. Meeting new people and hosting them brings us joy.

We’re grounded, easy-going people who enjoy good conversation, shared meals, and a bit of laughter.

We would be pleased to meet and host individuals and/or couples who appreciate nature, can add to our knowledge of agriculture and gardening, can guide and give us experience in vineyard and winemaking, and can physically support us in gardening. We are also open to individuals or couples seeking cultural and language exchange. I speak English, German, and Japanese. I would love to learn Greek, the language of the land my mother's parents came from.

You’ll have a cozy house (60 sqm) to stay with private kitchen and bathroom, which has has a 80 sqm patio with sea view; home-cooked food ( you can also cook your own food if you want), a beach, and mountain walks on your doorstep, and the chance to experience both peaceful natural life and beautiful seaside. If you prefer, a vibrant life and tourism are just 50 km away.

If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you.

We have a pebble beach right in front of us (only 400 meters away). We have our own boat. We go fishing and scuba diving whenever we wish. There's a market right next to us, but for larger purchases, we go to Ören, which is 6 km away. Bodrum, one of Türkiye's most famous tourist areas, is 50 km away. Sometimes we go to Bodrum to enjoy the nightlife and food.

Besides all this, my wife and I are yoga instructors. We do yoga occasionally. We would be delighted if you joined us.

There's a lot of work to do every day on the farm, but it's all enjoyable. Feeding the animals, caring for the plants, maintaining the vineyard. Harvesting grapes and making wine in September.

When we host you, we can have a pleasant time, work together, and mutually benefit from our knowledge. You can enjoy the food we prepare in our stone oven and barbecue. We can have cultural exchanges, learn languages together.

What we're really looking for are people we can build friendships with.

Those with experience in vineyard care and farming would be especially helpful.
