Description
Interested in a 2-3 week work away experience February - April 2026 ? Read on, let’s see if we’re a fit !!
This spring we’ve a few projects on our private homestead that we'd love some help with. Such Tasks include help with firewood, small landscape and gardening projects, as well as help with basic farm chores like feeding/cleaning chicken coup, dog walking, and some domestic tasks around the house.
We are a couple who love animals, nature, and connecting with travellers for meaningful and mutual beneficial exchanges.
We have a 10-acre farm in the warm
& welcoming Okanagan of BC, Canada and We appreciate hosting global travellers who share our values around clean living, an appreciation for nature, and community care efforts.
Those who tend to be a good fit, are mature self-starters with an affinity for nature and animals. A roll up your sleeves attitude, where learning and creatively are welcomed . As we welcome our work away guests into our home, a good fit is a must, we are happy to share space and connect over our varied cultures.
Guests have lather own large an spacious private room and bathroom in our family home,
With shared spaces like kitchen and outdoor spa area.
The area has many amazing hikes and lakes very nearby - there is much to appreciate in this stunning area of B.C.
We have 3 puppies (a corgi, a jack Russel terrier, and a mini Aussie Shepard) 3 horses, a min horse and an assortment of chickens.
Also, we have a beautiful outdoor thermal spa - we are happy to offer this to our work away guests after our day's work.
We have very comfortable accommodations for 2 in our spacious family farmhouse. Our set up works great for a couple or 2 friends travelling together.
We generally have breakfast and dinners together, lunch is self-serve. We're happy to share our space and a welcoming a peaceful and respectful environment.

Nearest town from the farm is Penticton, then Kelowna.
Depending on the season there are ski mountains, as well as notably hiking, bike riding, climbing in these parts. This is wine & lake country, so much to see and do.
No smoking on site, helpful to have some means of transportation if they’d like to leave the farm & explore on their own.

Stewart and Deborah’s property is an oasis in the beautiful region of Naramata BC.
