  I am a 23 year old boy, proud of the structure where a few years ago with the help of my parents I made holiday homes and together with my partner runs a farm where we grow citrus, olive trees and small quantities of other fruits. Aside from working in my farm, I always dedicate a part of my day to leisure and sport. I think my structure is a place where you can experience a quiet experience, in the middle of nature with all the comfort you need. All this remains a few kilometers from the most important inhabited towns in Sicily.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  A cultural exchange in Sicily, especially in our area (Eastern Sicily), from the opportunity to visit fascinating places such as Siracusa, Catania, Etna and all the cultural attractions and not the East coast, favored by the almost always mild climate and to know landscapes with typical Sicilian features. Moreover, a cultural exchange in our company allows not only to be in contact with tourists from all over the world, but also to learn the notions useful both for the management of a structure and for the management of a farm.

  Help

  The activity concerns a holiday home consisting of three accommodation for a total of 13 beds, inserted in a farm where the typical Sicilian fruits, especially citrus fruits and olives, are cultivated. The houses are old Sicilian houses recently refurbished, with outdoor areas formed by meadows, green and a pool with hot tub. The required aid covers maintenance of greenery around homes, animal care (dogs, cats, hens) and general maintenance. As far as the farm is concerned, the aid concerns the maintenance of greenery, harvesting oranges, olives, nuts in small quantities and maintenance of the stores in it.

  Accommodation

  The helper will be welcomed into an apartment with independent room, bathroom and kitchen, equipped with everything that is needed. It will be free to cook what you prefer even according to your needs or choose to consume your meals with our family.

  What else ...

  The helper will have a car with which he can move himself to the nearest centers such as Carlentini, Lentini, Augusta, Brucoli (10 minutes by car) or in the cities of Catania or Syracuse (20/30 min drive) and take advantage of sports, recreational and cultural activities in the various centers. It's our habit, finding ourselves in a very quiet area, living in the cities both in winter and summer. Right next to our accommodation there is another similar activity where workaway assistants are always present.
