  We are Penca Libre! Meet our team, small but passionate running a unique restaurant where food, nature, and entertainment come together. Every morning we start the day with yoga and finish our days with a hand crafted mezcal cocktail, embracing a balanced lifestyle. Penca Libre is run by Jorge and Rayas - Jorge is our talented chef, crafting delicious and nourishing dishes and our yoga teacher - Rayas is our mezcal expert and tattoo artist, running our night time events and bar. We believe in teamwork, sustainability, and sharing positive energy with everyone who visits us. Whether you come for a meal, a yoga session, to play guitar in our jam sessions or have a shot of mezcal, we welcome you to be part of our space!

  Chacahua is a beautiful island on the pacific coast of Oaxaca where people from all over the world gather to surf the beautiful waves and explore the wonders of this very primitive destination. All kind of activities happening throughout the island like bioluminescence on the lagoon, open water fishing, and exploring all the different beaches. By collaborating here you will be able to learn yoga, surf, be apart of our project which includes healthy cooking, night time bar, tattoo studio and jam sessions!

  Help

  We are looking for help to set up our place, painting, helping us organize events and also helping in the kitchen and bar. We have four different shift times during the day and each have there own responsibilities.

  We offer well equipped tents and/or quaint room with mattress and clean sheets with full bathroom access. We have starlink wifi and volunteers get two meals a day! Beautiful space directly on the chacahua lagoon.

  Here at our space we promote a balance of healthy living and night time vibes. Beginning our days with yoga and meditation and ending with sunsets in our chill lounge area. This is a beautiful town to explore and enjoy. Our space is right on the lagoon with access to swimming, hammocks, wifi and good food. Days off you can use to enjoy the beach, take a water taxi to the lighthouse, learn to surf, go to a turtle release or simply enjoy our space.
