    Description

We have been hosting helpers for over 12 years, in Queensland, Victoria and now the far south coast of NSW.

We have recently moved from a bush property to a house on a headland in Tathra, a wilderness of a different kind, with the sea in all its moods, and National Parks within easy reach. The headland walking track is literally across the road, and Tathra main beach is a 20 minute walk.

We offer accommodation in a cosy bedroom with its own bathroom (also household laundry). The room has a sea view, and is private from the rest of the house. We share kitchen and living spaces, and share our meals together.

The work required is 4-5 hours work a day, helping with gardening, landscaping and occasional building. We are looking for people who want who are fit, strong and happy to work outdoors. Please bring suitable clothes, boots and hat.

Tracey is an artist and has a well equipped studio that you are welcome to use.

Please note that the reviews are from our previous property, however as you can see we have had very positive feedback from all our helpers over many years, and we are pleased to be able to host helpers again in our new location.

We love good conversations and are keen to hear about other cultures and places around the world - feel free to practice your English with us!

Guests will have a coastal experience in a beautiful setting on the Tathra headland. There are bush walking tracks right across the road and national parks all around, with fabulous pristine beaches. There are plenty of kangaroos around, you will see them most mornings and evenings.
