    Hi Community.

We have 3.5 acres of tropical farmland in the Coffs Harbour region (mid north coast NSW) and are often looking for a single or the right couple who would be interested in helping out with our property and animals.

We have a charming off-grid cabin which is usually a holiday rental that we could offer as accommodation. We ask in return you look after the animals (5 chickens, 2 goats and 2 sheep) and help out with other jobs around the place. Other jobs could be anything from ground level (no heights) vegetation clearing, weed maintenance, laying wood chips, gardening, helping with a shed conversion/renovation etc etc. No own equipment, technical skills or qualifications required.

The cabin is completely off-grid but has all the amenities, including hot water (tank), heating, ceiling fan, electricity (solar), double bed, bedding and towels, gas cooker (no oven), outdoor bbq, fire pit etc. There is no internet, however most mobile phone providers have reception coverage in the area.

Having your own transport would be preferable.

Please reach out if this interests you.

There is so much more to Coffs Harbour than the Big Banana. It’s a great place for a beach holiday – with glorious stretches of sand galore and a laid-back coastal vibe – and makes a fantastic base to explore the rainforests and waterfalls of the Waterfall Way or the incredible Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Our land allows you to enjoy all of this richness whilst having your own private space to disconnect and reconnect with nature. You're welcome to pick flowers, forage for fruit / herbs, collect fresh eggs from the chickens and light up a campfire.

To explore all the Coffs region has to offer, your own transport would be highly recommended. While we aren't very far from town and beaches, they aren't quite walking distance. There is some public transport but this is infrequent. Uber and taxi's are available. We have 1 bicycle we can provide, there is also a second bike however the brakes need to be fixed. If you are happy to fix, you can ride that as well!
