Hi! We are Stef and Reidar, a young mexican-canadian couple who own a new eco-tourism business in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. We are animal and nature lovers, we enjoy new adventures and spending time in the sea snorkeling, fishing, surfing or just relaxing on the sand. We believe in people and their dreams, if it is in our hands to make a little change in this world with small actions, then we will.
Our company is dedicated to give tours to Espiritu Santo Island, Balandra, San Rafaelito, sea lion and whale shark snorkeling and teaching paddle board, but the best part of it is when we create unforgettable memories which create awareness to protect the environment and such beautiful species and of course making new friends.
We invite you to be part of our small family and make your own experiences unique and unforgettable.

Helping with Tourists
You will know better our culture spending time with locals, but also meet different people coming from different countries to do our tour. Snorkeling at Espíritu Santo Island and even with the California Sea Lions.
From October to May you can swim with the world's biggest fish: the whale shark.
When it is high season (from October to April) we also offer some economic support in exchange of your work. This would be around $25 USD per week or $100 USD per month, besides your accommodation. You are responsible for your meals.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
We need 1 or 2 volunteers with a minimum age of 21 years old that could stay for 1-3 months helping us with basic work like helping with basic food preparation for the tours, washing work gear, and basic boat maintenance.
We will require 25 hours of help per week, and the work schedule and tasks may vary from one day to another depending on our tour reservations.
Sometimes you will interact directly with our guests so an excellent guest service is a "must" as well as good swimming skills, just in case we need your assistance in our tours. You will spend time under the sun and swimming in the "aquarium of the world", like Jaques Cousteau called Cortez Sea.
As there are government regulations we need to follow, we do NOT need your help as a tour guide, what we need is someone helping us in the preparation (food, equipment) before and after the tour (cleaning and washing everything and getting ready for the next day tour). Of course, as long as we have space in our boat you are welcome to come with us during the tour and assist our clients with anything they need as well as doing snorkeling with the sea lions and SUP (standup paddle board).
We need someone with a positive attitude, responsible and very respectful with nature and people. Someone who speaks english, would be great if also speaks some spanish and any other language is a plus. Also, people with first aid certification will have preference.
English, Spanish and French
We have a spacious 2 bedroom house for volunteers, 1 bathroom, kitchen with stove and fridge, hot water, wifi, and a garage. It is a safe neighborhood and next to a little mall with a big supermarket, pharmacy, cinema and some restaurants. It is also 2 blocks from our home in case you need something.
Visit Espiritu Santo Island, Balandra (named the best beach in Mexico last year), do SUP (Standup paddle board) in some incredible beaches with us.
You also can surf in Todos Santos town (1 hour from La Paz) or kite board in La Ventana beach (45 min drive), diving here or at Cabo Pulmo, and Los Cabos is about 2 hours from La Paz.
We can help you most of the time by picking you up from your house to get to work. The house is in a very good location, so you can also walk, use a bike or move in the public transportation. Whenever we are able, we can give you a ride. But we will provide you a bike.
