Description
We are a family of 4 and 1 cat living in Chilliwack, BC, Canada located just 1 hour away from Vancouver. Hi, I'm Host Dad, James. I have 3 kids: London (15), Hunter (9) & Indiana (7). Also, Toulouse our cat. I am self employed and work from home, which keeps me quite busy and runnning around constantly. We love to do things as a family and spend as much time together as possible. We enjoy having friends over for dinners, cooking, camping in the summer, playing at the river, video games, board games, going for walks and much much more! Our home is very central by a river and lots of hiking trails. There is also a bus stop right across the street so traveling around on your free time is easy!

Help
Being self employed my schedule can be quite busy at times, I have my children half of the time and am just outnumbered, haha! Just need an extra set of hands to help with chores around the house, tiding up, laundry, having fun with kids if I have to be away for work and being part of the family. Kids are here for a week and then away for a week so it would allow someone a lot of freedom to explore everything the area has to offer :)

Accommodation
The room is on the first floor set back giving privacy. Furnished hideaway bed for more space and a big 85inch screen tv, we wanted to make it as comfortable and private as possible while still having you as part of the family. My room and the kids rooms are located on the third floor along with the laundry and shower/bath, there is a half bathroom on 2nd floor. We have unlimited high speed internet. As for food, we love it! I love to cook but im happy to have help or if you would like to make something thats great too, we eat everything and have no restrictions for diet but are happy to accommodate diet restrictions. I bake sourdough regularly and have for years. A cell phone can be provided and we have an extra vehicle should you require.
What else ...
We live right beside a bus stop and very close to, trails, rivers, restaurants, and grocery stores. We enjoy hosting party/ events, sitting on the patio overlooking the mountain views, watching movies and spending quality time together as a family. It would be our pleasure to include someone else in these experiences and do some local travel to Whistler or Kelowna from time to time on long weekends or holidays.
