Description
This is a small retreat in the remote Himalayan village of Gangotri Valley, surrounded by forests, waterfalls, caves, and fresh mountain air. It’s a peaceful space for self-healing, slowing down, and reconnecting with nature.
The work here is flexible and without strict timings — you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the mountains, explore hidden trails, or just relax.
We often go on day hikes, discover waterfalls and caves, and sometimes trek to Gidara Bugyal — one of Asia’s highest alpine meadows. For adventure, there’s rappelling, forest walks, and if you’re into motorcycles, you can even join me on a ride 🚴🏍️ .
The retreat also has a Bikers’ Café — a warm hangout for travelers and riders from across the world. The walls are covered with biker flags and badges, making it feel like home for anyone who loves the road.
If you’re looking for a quiet mountain life, outdoor adventures, and a chance to share good vibes with new people, you’ll fit right in here 🌿✨Types of help and learning opportunities

Engaging in conversations about local festivals, customs, daily routines, and values.
Practicing or sharing yoga, meditation as part of a mindful, healthy routine.
Teaching or learning, especially related to biking and hikking, which are part of our lifestyle and surroundings..
We aim to create a warm, inclusive space where both hosts and volunteers can connect, learn, and grow through shared cultural experiences.Help
We are currently looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to join us and support the day-to-day activities at our homestay. The kind of help we are looking for includes being a helping hand wherever needed—this may involve tasks such as:
social media handling with casual posts and reels
Supporting general maintenance and upkeep of the space
Lending a hand with any other tasks that may come up during the day
We value a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute wherever help is needed. In return, you'll get a warm and welcoming environment, cultural exchange, personal time and a chance to be part of a homestay experience.
If you're someone who enjoys being part of a home-like setting and is happy to help out in various ways, we’d love to hear from you!Languages
