Description
In a small village, at the base of a big mountain, along a river and beside a dam is a wee fine property.
Hello! My name is Michelle. I live here alone and very peacefully. My brother and his family live on the neighbouring farm. My project is just to maintain what I have and move forward on some art and sculptural projects. These include erecting a flag pole and a metal wheel sculpture. It would be great to brainstorm with you and act on our ideas too, while also enjoying some language and cultural exchange. I am going to South America in August, so excited to have a native Spanish speaker on board!
Some skills that would be a definite plus are welding, plumbing, painting, brush cutting, gardening, problem solving and general DIY and maintenance.
I am a dynamic, creative, and adventurous person looking for someone to give their input and energy into my property.Types of help and learning opportunities

I am told that my home is very interesting as it is full of artefacts from my travels, so we can start here!
We also work closely with the local isiZulu people. I can take you into the mountains to see where and how they live. Depending on the timing, we may be able to experience a traditional ceremony which is very colourful and musical.
We are also at the base of a World Heritage Site, the Drakensberg Mountains. We have access to the original Bushman paintings and there is a Centre where you can learn more about our human origins.Help
I am looking for general help around my home. This may involve painting, repairing or maintaining something. My garden is very important, so tasks could include watering, planting and brush cutting. I currently rent out my pastures, but farm help may include fencing and help with road building. I have a few art projects up my sleeve which will involve some welding. I am ideally looking for someone strong, handy and creative. I would love your input and contribution.! A bonus would be a native Spanish speaking person to converse with. I am planning a trip to South America in August, and would love to "hablo Espanol!"

I love languages and speak the basic isiZulu of my area. My main request would be for a Spanish speaking person as a language exchange as I hope to travel to South America next year. Gracias!Accommodation
You will be living with me in a double storey house surrounded by water. You will have your own large room with 2 beds and a big wardrobe upstairs. As regards food, I will happily share my food with you. I would ask that we share the cooking and also learn each other's cultures from this.
What else ...
I live quietly and respectfully in my wee sanctuary on the globe. I would ask that you do too. Please do not kill anything. Please respect the wildlife at all times. I am used to living alone, so please respect when I need space. I am happy to show you around when I have time. Otherwise, you can go to the local museum, coffee shops and sports club. I can organise for you to join the local hiking group. Communication is always key so let me know what you like to do!
