Description
Hello, I am Ale. After a few years as a digital nomad I am now spending more time in the countryside between Milan and Lake Como, in an old farmhouse with a big garden and fruit trees. The spirit here is informal and collaborative: we decide together what to work on based on the season, the weather and your interests. I am also developing online projects about travel and sustainability and I enjoy working together with curious, creative people. The place is rustic and alive — there is always something light to take care of, and always time to explore, rest, make music and enjoy the surroundings.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We can speak Italian, English or Spanish, which makes daily life a great opportunity for language practice. The area is rural but well connected — I can lend you a bike to explore nearby towns, Lake Como and Milan. I am happy to share what I know about van life, kite surfing, rock climbing, digital nomad life and eco-living. In return I am always curious to learn about your culture, travels and skills — from cooking and music to photography and digital creativity. I would love to occasionally organise small cultural and music events in the garden, and I have a special project in mind: building a simple outdoor shed for cultural gatherings using natural and recycled bio-materials (wood, straw, earth). If you are interested in sustainable design, architecture or community building, this is a wonderful hands-on learning experience we can develop together at a relaxed pace.

Help
Most tasks are simple and adapted to your interests and the season. Typical activities include: helping in the vegetable and fruit garden (planting, watering, harvesting, pruning); keeping outdoor areas tidy (raking, mowing, light garden maintenance); helping with shared indoor spaces (cleaning, organising, making the place more cosy); cooking together and sharing recipes; and helping with my online projects about van travel and sustainability (content ideas, social media, basic research, depending on your skills).
A special creative project is the design and co-creation of a small outdoor shed for cultural and music events, built with natural and recycled bio-materials — a learning and making experience, not professional construction work. Everything is done at a comfortable pace with plenty of free time to explore and enjoy the area.

What else ...
It's a rural area, with arcore close by, 20 minutes by bike with icecream shops and bars. I personally prefer going to events and concerts when available. In the free time I often go to Milan also for a day or two. I like to stay in the area, Kitesurf on the lake, Rock climb, bike, run, and make music and fire outside. I also enjoy organising informal music and cultural evenings in the garden when the weather allows.
