Description
Help needed , 7th July to 4th August
1 or 2 , people
Must be used to cats, and to know what to do if they come across an abandoned kitten..
Basic work, cleaning, feeding, but mainly common sense and to be happy to work unsupervised for the odd day , so I can get a day off !
Only one cat here is blind, and she's the only one to keep watch over, she's happy in the garden but is curious about the road.. a big No no !
You would stay 5 minutes up the village..
Happy to chat ..

Help
Maybe if workaway people get to grips with being here and are here for 2 or more weeks, I'm sure I can slot back to give them days off..
Thanks

Accommodation
A double room of their own in the house.
What else ...
I have wifi. Trains to Milan/ Genova, wherever are reached at a station 20 minutes from here.. I'm happy to give lifts to the station.. There is a bus service to Gavi, our nearest market town, 7 klms away.. I have had people from "Trusted House sitters" stay, but they both tell me its more a working holiday, than just house sitting.. I'm pretty laid back.. just need assistance with the day to day cleaning..
Gavi has a small market each Sunday morning and Novi Ligure a town half an hour away has a fairly large market on a Thursday morning.
The fast train to Genova takes half an hour, a city worth a visit :)
The village of Parodi is in the country, views of vineyards and hills..

I learned new things about cats again even thou I had 4 cats myself years back. Every cat has its own character and they tell you if they want you around or not. The vet she goes to is just great with animals! I found it… read more
To be left "In Charge" for a young person can be daunting, but you managed extremely well.. I'd be happy to recommend you :)
She was really kind, talking was easy from the first moment on. The work is not too much, but of course has to be done. Most of it is cleaning and in winter heating. So day to day routine. Nevertheless you… read more
