    Description

We are a New Zealand / Canadian family recently moved to the Quebec ski village Sutton in the beautiful Eastern Townships (close to the Vermont border USA). We have a large duplex home in the heart of the village on 1/2 acre of garden. Mostly it is Denise & John at the house as Maya & Will are studying in Montreal. We need some help with the garden to tidy it up for some planting and landscaping. Volunteers would have their own duplex apartment to stay in and when not helping in the garden can easily walk into Sutton village and enjoy this touristy town filled with artisan stores, microbreweries, cafes and walking trails. Nearby there are many beautiful townships, vineyards, lakes, walking trails and stunning countryside to explore.

Travellers would get the opportunity to stay in some of Canada's most beautiful countryside and learn about the history of this interesting region once an English Loyalist township now a French speaking village. You will also be able to develop your French speaking skills in this region of Quebec.

We are looking with help in the garden which has become overgrown and needs some weeding and re-planting. Some small DIY assistance may be involved to help a builder who would create garden beds and perhaps some help painting of window frames on the house is needed over the summer.
