Description
We operate a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with a disability May - August. In March-May we are looking for Helpers to work with and prepare our therapy horses for lessons that start at the end of May. For these months we look for people with horse care experience. Other jobs could include facility maintenance and small projects.
From end of May-early August we run lessons 3-4 days / week. It's a fun and rewarding environment if you enjoy people and horses! Intermediate-advanced horse experience and/or experience in working with people, and fluency in English are required for these months.
After lesson months we look for helpers too. September-February we might ask for lesser hours in exchange for accommodation only: 15hr work/week. Own transportation is required for these off months.

Yukon is a vast and beautiful land. Canada's north provides opportunity to see wildlife without driving long distances. Many people from around the world come to the north to see the aurora. We have access to trails and hiking outside our back door. English and french are spoken.

Shower and laundry amenities are provided on site. We have internet access. We are a non-smoking family and ask that helpers respect this.
