We operate a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with a disability May - August. The month of May we are looking for Helpers to work with and prepare our therapy horses for lessons that start at the end of May. Other jobs included facility maintenance. We run lessons 3-4 days / week. It's a fun and rewarding environment if you enjoy people and horses! Horse experience and working with people. We look for helpers May - mid August mostly but may also accommodate workers in the off season.

Yukon is a vast and beautiful land. Canada's north provides opportunity to see wildlife without driving long distances. Many people from around the world come to the north to see the aurora. We have access to trails and hiking outside our back door. English and french are spoken.
Travellers would help with lessons and lesson preparation. Projects could include fixing fences, painting, moving hay bales, watering plants and garden, grooming and exercising horses, cleaning tack and looking after a small vegetable garden.
Helpers stay in a travel trailer or a cabin with power but no running water. Helpers have access to our home with amenities: bathroom/shower, laundry facility, kitchen, etc. We have internet access. We are a non-smoking family and ask that helpers respect this.
There are bicycles for use and unlimited trails. Takhini Hotsprings and the Yukon Wildlife Preserve is within 10k away. There is opportunity to see our city for shopping and visiting tourist sites.
