    Description

My name is John :) I live at Ngadirejo with my wife and son.

We are located at the center of Central Java, about 3 hours from Yogyakarta. The area is surrounded by majestic volcanoes, mountains and rice fields. Here we are famous for our coffee, tea and tobacco plantations, along with our hospitality.

I am an English teacher. I taught in Vocational High school and now I retired but I teach at home for the private students . Most of them do not have enough chance to communicate in English in their school. Even they rare see people speak English in their English class.

On weekends, we invite you to visit the interesting places around Temanggung and neighboring towns such as Borobudur temple at Magelang, royal palaces in Yogyakarta, Dieng plataeau at Wonosobo,

Not too far from my home you can see beautiful hills, traditional arts, dances, exotic resorts, Tea Plantation , do mount climbing, play traditional music and visit beautiful waterfalls. Near my village. New temple which is now explored by the archeologists of my regency which hasn’t finished yet. Actually it is very huge temple it is the second hindu’s temple after The temple in Dieng Plateau.

Fortunately, most of the volunteers were happy to stay with us . I am a Host of Workawayers since 2013 If you are interested in visiting us you can stay for weeks, or months. If you are a volunteer from Europe who speak English or an English native speaker, I am waiting forward to welcoming you at my home at Temanggung. It is of course, a safe town to stay. It is not tourist area so not so many foreigners ( tourist ) in my town. We invite you to look at our reviews :)

We can have 2-3 volunteers to stay together. in Indonesian houses with friendly neighborhood and sometimes, wi-fi connection.

    Warmest Regards for all .Thanks
    John and Family
