Francesco was a delight to have around. He was always respectful, thoughtful and caring. He was willing to do any activity I needed and worked hard not looking at the clock. A very social gentleman with an interest in people.
I would recommend him as a workaway.

I recently spent a lovely week with Joan at her farm. Joan had me do a variety of tasks: mowing, weeding (watch out for the nettles😊) moving stones, collecting goose eggs, working a little on the frames for the beehives. In the short time I was there we also did a day trip to Dingle and had a few great walks on the beach and in the countryside.

Ben is a very energetic young man who loves having fun and is very keen to learn new things.
He was always respectful, kind and caring. He worked well having specific projects with clear directions and he liked jobs that were more physically demanding. He loved engaging in conversation so that he could practice and improve his English language. We

Joan is very impressive. Indeed what makes her this way is : her energy, her kindness and respect, her hardworking way of living, her knowledge that gives you goosebumps, her cooking, her love for animals, her garden and finally her home made products. I strongly recommend her for a Workaway experience. She also helped me in writing expression and

I just stayed one week at Joan's farm, and it was a very good experience.
She is a very nice and welcoming person : she collected me at the bus stop and lift me in town when I needed, also helped me with administration stuff, with my English speaking skills... She knows a lot about food and I was glad she shared her knowledge.
Her house is in

The work was flexible, varied, and interesting : painting, cleaning, cooking, tidying, gardening, collecting wood, melting wax... It depends of what is needed at the moment.
Thanks a lot again Joan, kiss Rosie & Molly for me !

My daughter and I only visited Joan for few hours because we already had a host, but it was very kind that she invited us to see her farm. Joan is a very active woman, warmhearted and we had a nice chat with her. We could also try her self-made pesto with self-made bread and cheese. The farm is really nice and we loved to groom the donkeys and see

This was my first experience with Workaway; I must say I had a wonderful 16 days at the farm. My workload was reasonable and varied depending on the weather. I got it all, snow, rain and beautiful spring weather.
Joan was very hospitable. Her meals were always tasty, delicious and prepared with herbs, and sometimes nuts, seeds, etc. Her

My activities were the kind of things needed to prepare for Spring. I cleaned out beehives (really interesting), trimmed hedges, cut up branches, split wood and did several other jobs. It was a joy to be around the dog, ducks, goose, hens, donkeys and ponies. I really had a great time at the farm and working for Joan.
