I’m an off-the-grid homesteader, avid gardener, and nature enthusiast! I’ve been a super host on air bnb for 9 years. People have loved getting away from the city to come to the chalet and enjoy a disconnected experience in nature. Now, I’m looking for help with various projects around the property. Whatever skills you have - art, construction, gardening, communication - there is a job that is perfect for you. I’m excited to share my space with volunteers in exchange for your creativity and expertise.

So many opportunities to learn about good food, yoga, gardening, bees, composting, recycling, fishing & flowers. It’s a lovely space to read, study, play guitar, paint, draw or rest. I’d love to practice Spanish. And very happy to teach English.
Help
We need help with gardening, carpentry, the chickens, creative enhancement, solar power and hydro power. First priority will be to set up outdoor show and water and plumbing to sinks. We also need to get wood fired soaking tub operating properly.

Accommodation
We need self sufficient volunteers. Property is set up to accommodate visitors. The first floor of chalet is private. Double bed with sheets provided. General cooking supplies are provided. Sometimes host cooks, sometimes guests cook. Soon veggies will be accessible from garden.
Guests are expected to leave home clean and organized as they found it. Leave no footprint. See photos on air bnb
What else ...
Great place to chill on time off. Local biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing and parks are nearby. There’s a spinning studio, yoga, library, and a handful of local restaurants and convenience stores a 15 minute bike ride away. I can drive 1 time per week.
