    Description

    Hello! 💥🤠💜

We're settled beneath Mount Leinster and close to the beautiful white sandy beaches of Curracloe...

3 miles a short drive or bike ride from the historical town of Enniscorthy ... the birth place of the Irish revolution...Inis Corthaigh in Irish which means river meadow of the island... in County Wexford Irelands south east. 🌱🌱🌱

The farm is situated on a small hill with views of Vinegar hill and Mount Leinster...

We currantly keep 5 chickens 2 dogs and 2 cats but are planning to bump it up to 12 hens and 20 pigs in the woods in the coming year...🦆🐷🐣

We have plans to open a small business here in the future with a sauna | glamping units | market garden | farm shop | cafe and am looking for like minded people to help push it off the ground and work along with. 💥💥💥

We can offer wages to workers who are motivated and skilled. Experienced adult workers aged 20 and over would recieve at least minimum wage (€14.50 per hr worked)

We are looking for people to get involved at the ground level and to work with us to build the structure and in the future to run and promote this sustainable business.

To run your own independant businesses on the land is possible too.

I have been teaching farm to fork food skills for over 10 years and have a lot of experiance in catering and the arts...

Ideally we are looking for a couple or someone with wood working or building experiance as we manage a small woodland for timber and are currantly building the gardens and cafe...🏵🏵🏵

We would love to hear from you if you feel you would suit that criteria or are eager to meet with us...💞💞💞

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

There are some great creative spaces all around us between cowhouse studio, mangan ceramics, orchard recording studio, creative grounds cafe in town the castle and its various events...

We are happy to bring you out for day excursions seeing what the locals have to offer here.

I teach farm to fork cookery skills so if you want to learn about growing your own food and preserving it.
Baking butchery fermentation and foraging I teach and always love walking people through the different techniques.

I also have exhibited in the national craft gallery in Ireland and would have extensive knowledge on glassblowing ceramics and metal work.

I love to learn in general and would be open to learning from you too in whatever you'd like to bring to our discussions.

We aim to provide a safe and open community here where everyone is appreciated for what they bring to the table.

  • Help

    Help

We would love help with building fences / hedging to keep animals in their paddocks safely.

There are stone walls we would also like to repair.

We are also looking for help with organising our large workshop space so that it can accomodate us better in the long run. By building shelves work benches and storage spaces .

We also have a woodlands where we are constantly maintaining paths and clearing dead wood to use to heat our home.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Theres a double bed room in the farm house for a couple or skilled builder / woodwooker.

Plenty of space for campers and there is a van which can be used as base for someone if they dont mind fitting it out.

    Theres plenty of tents too.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We are nestled in between mt. Leinster and Curracloe beach.

There are a selection of bicycles here and its a quick cycle (max 30mins) into the historical town of Enniscorthy where the rebellion in Wexford started.

There is also a working van here for anyone with a full licence that wishes to insure it... that can be used for exploring further afield.

It's a beautiful old courtyard farm with chickens, bees, cats and dogs.

Double room in house suitable for couple or single person.

We would be spending our exchanged time working on setting up a sauna and glamping business here. Tending the vegetable patch, putting up fences for the pigs and constructing another small chicken pen.

Do get in touch if you'd like to know more.
