    Description

hello. we line in a beautiful seaside town in Nova Scotia. Mahone Bay is a busy tourist town each summer and fall. We have a great self contained unit in our barn. It is a very special place. My husband has suffered a Stroke and is no longer very active. We have children that visit but it's usually just my husband and I with a dog. She is very friendly. Before living in this small town we lived in a large city with so many different cultures all around us. We loved the different restaurants and we had many friends from all over the world. We would love to entertain someone or a couple and share this part of Canada. I am the president of the Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival and I love to show visitors around our creative space.

Mahone Bay has many volunteer groups I work with plus the Visitors Information Centre. The South Shore is home to several TV shows and movies because if its beauty. Beaches and Trails are all around. Bikes available to borrow. I would enjoy showing the best of Mahone Bay and its people. There are other close towns of equal beauty to explore. Meeting locals is a wonderful opportunity to learn all about Canada as many residents came from somewhere else in Canada.

    Help

I need a second pair of hands and someone to help with these outside projects. A deck needs levelling. I need some painting and staining on outside structures. I also need help removing the surround of a fire pit which are cement blocks. Other small tasks like that. Moving blocks and levelling a few steps. A firewood storage area needs completing as does short wall hiding garbage bins.
I have tools and I’ll have the supplies on hand. If the weather is bad for outside work, there’s a bit of interior painting and cupboard doors to sand. None of it is very hard or difficult but easier with two doing it.
