    Description

Forest-covered mountain slopes, endless hills, untouched nature and pleasant air await you in Bátor, only 14 km from Eger (the biggest town nearby) and 11 km from the Bükkszék spa, which is a great place to relax. You can truly find peace in the village of only 400 inhabitants.
I love my home, I renovated it almost alone completely, and most of the people love it and thinks it's really unique and friendly. Many of my guests say they can sleep here so well.
On the other hand it's a real village house. So you have to carry the wood to light the fire in the tiled stove or shovel the snow (unfortunately very rarely) at the entrance.
I have a big garden (2200 sqm), but it's not that nice during the winter, but you have space for sure. Unfortunatelly there is some construction stuff there too, which doesn't look that beautiful.
About me... I'm pregnant, so I moved to the lovely father of my child, also in the village. That's why the house is free for a while, and I would like someone to be there and help me with a few things (7 days a month) in return.
I also have a cat, Mashenka, really sweet, love all the people. I would be happy if you would be nice to her, but it's also enough just to feed her once a day. She stays outside, but tries to sneak into the house sometimes. :)

I make ceramics, so I'm happy to show this to you. My partner is really friendly and smart, and for sure you can have a nice chating, drinking beer evenings if you would like to join - as you wish. Otherwise for cultural things you need to visit Eger. Here you can go for a hiking any time, a small pine forest starts by the end of my garden and the house is by the end of the village, so you are out of the village in a minute and can enjoy the nice hills.

And I don't mind if you decide to go for a few days somewhere, I can give food for the cats etc., so housesitting doesn't mean you have to be there all the time...

    Help

As I mentioned I did most of the renovation. And as I am not a plasterer or whatever, it means there are no straight and horizontal lines in my home. :) I can say it's a wabi-sabi house. But there are same things still have to be done there, like grout repair, plaster repair (small areas), wall painting etc. These are all the thing you can do for sure - I can help as well to explain everything. But as I did these things before, I don't expect someone to help as a painter or so... Trust me, if you are not totally stupid, you can do it.

It also means that when you are doing this, there will be some mess in the house (actually still there is, as I also did), but it's only 7 days a month, and you can choose how you allocate the days. You do not have to do real hard tasks.

I also would be happy (in these 7 days) if you could help me sometimes. Eg. I make my pottery firing kiln, and as I am pregnant, I'm not really allowed to use certain machines... And I don't want to ask my partner to help me all the time as he has also many things to do...

As I still have things to do there or get something, it can happen that I would go there. No worries, I have a new home now, it doesn't mean I will be there to often. Just it can happen I need to go there. But I would never go there without asking you about it and I hope I don't need to get into your living space at all... I won't really have anything there what I may need.

Okey, I think it's already too much information, please, let me know if you have more questions.

My house is quite big, but the part which is used to live is about 50 nm. There is a lobby, a bedroom, a living room, a kithen and a bathroom. Not superclean, okey? Sorry. But not a shitty place, I lived here for 8 years, just it can be difficult to keep it clean when you also change the windows. And it's friendly, nice. The kitchen is well staffed, you can cook there.
