  Soule, Xiberoa, is the most discreet and wildest of the seven provinces of the Basque Country. You will wander through the gentle, green landscapes of the lower valley, discovering its rich architectural heritage or in search of one of those must-have espadrilles made in Mauléon. As you climb towards the summits, nature becomes wilder, very green, interspersed with gorges and canyons and covered with vast forests. On the ridges and throughout the summer pastures, you will come across countless herds. Its Souletin dialect (a very particular version of the Basque language), its pastoralism, its myths, but also its pastorals and masquerades, make this small territory a true cultural and dynamic cradle. This place is suitable for people who want to connect with nature. The house is on the banks of the Gave de Larrau on a one-hectare plot. The dogs, Shimmy, Lilo des Malamutes are very good walking companions. The Alaskan Malamute is in excellent health. It tolerates winter conditions wonderfully but has more difficulty with extreme heat. It is built for activity, strength, and endurance: strong bone structure, well-developed muscles, much more so than those of the Siberian Husky, with which it is often confused. Its high and proud head carriage enhances its natural elegance. It is a real joy to watch them climb the mountain; they love the snow.

  Vous arpenterez les doux et verdoyants paysages de la basse vallée, à la découverte de son riche patrimoine bâti ou en quête d’une de ces incontournables espadrilles fabriquées à Mauléon.
  
  En remontant vers les sommets, la nature se fait plus sauvage, très verdoyante, entrecoupée de gorges et de canyons et recouverte de vastes forêts. Sur les crêtes et tout au long des estives, vous croiserez d’innombrables troupeaux.
  
  Son dialecte souletin (version très particulière de la langue basque), son pastoralisme, ses mythes, mais aussi ses pastorales et mascarades, font de ce petit territoire un véritable berceau culturel et dynamique.
  
  Ce lieu convient à des personnes qui ont envie de se connecter à la nature. La maison est au bord du gave de Larrau sur un terrain d'un hectare.
  
  Les chiens, shimmy, Lilo des Malamutes sont de très bons compagnons de promenade.
  Le Malamute de l’Alaska possède une santé de fer. Il supporte les conditions hivernales à merveille mais a plus de mal avec les grosses chaleurs. Il est taillé pour l'activité, la force et l'endurance : ossature forte, musculature bien développée, bien plus que celle du Husky Sibérien avec lequel il est souvent confondu. Son port de tête haut et fier accroît son élégance naturelle.
  C'est un vrai bonheur de les voir gravir la montagne, il aime la neige.

  We're 1.5 hours from Biarritz and Bayonne, and 1 hour from PAU if you want to go to the city. Winter is perfect for wood fires and the peace and quiet of the stove. Depending on your tastes, you'll find what you're looking for.

  Your main mission will be to take care of them because I am a trainer and I am going away for long periods. There is a car at home to get around. I also have the dream of creating a wellness garden, conducive to meditation, because the land already has many assets, so I would like to be helped with that.
  
  Votre principal mission sera de vous occuper d'eux car je suis formatrice et je pars sur de longue période. Il y a une voiture à la maison pour se déplacer.
  J'ai également le rêve de créer un jardin bien être, propice à la médiation, car le terrain possède déjà beaucoup d'atout, donc je veux bien être aidé pour ça.
