****COVID 19 UPDATE
We are currently running a stripped down version of our project, mainly running workshops with people from the immediate locality, no live in community at present as further personal growth became the clear purpose for us at this time. We do not currently accept applications from couples and we only commit to putting visitors up for a maximum of a week upon their first visit. See you soon and thank you! ****
This is a conscious community, arts centre and personal development project aiming to provide opportunity, sanctuary and support for individuals on a path of research and growth.
OUR AIMS ARE:
To create and manifest a paradigm for the world we want to live in and the world humanity needs to prepare for alongside deep resonating thinkers and feelers.
To provide a platform for enriching, supportive exchanges and educational opportunities amongst ourselves and reaching to the wider world. We believe this can be achieved in an environment promoting clear communication, individuality, kindness and respect for each other in a setting where nature can thrive fully, teaching and supporting us in the process.
To collectively learn how to reconnect with nature, ourselves and each other, reaching our higher self, following its wisdom, carving our personal life path through deep healing while refining and enriching our creative gifts.
Although we are at the embryonic stages of birthing the project in its full glory, we are looking for deeply resonating individuals who would like to be part of the vision at its formative stage: our current property is rented and can therefore not be treated as our permanent home despite its infinite charm and potential. As with all rented situations, it carries limitations within it of how far we can go as a fully fledged programme: you will likely be spending time with only one of the founders at the time of your visit as we all still have permanent accommodations outside of the Devon based project.
The reasons we are already keenly inviting volunteers are:
*To create meaningful and lasting connections in line with our fully hatched vision
*To learn from community situations on a smaller scale, to better shape the final version of who we are by understanding our supporters’ deeper needs and dreams.
*To offer opportunity for immediate development to passionate individuals and prepare for smooth integration as a true community for when we finally acquire our permanent home and land.
It is made up of (and warmly welcomes) individuals from a variety of ethnicity, gender identification, sexuality and spiritual belief and we do not discriminate, nor do we tolerate discrimination against any of these.

You will be guided through every step of the process by project leader and multi award winning artist and performer Thierry; learning new skills and abilities along the way from a wide breadth of disciplines, encompassing hands on arts and crafts, wearable art construction, preservation methods for organic materials, performing arts, stage presence, energy focusing skills, philosophy, meditation, emotional intelligence, embodied dance, cooking and dynamic living while sharing your existing knowledge and skills with us.
You will also be able to enjoy a deeply peaceful house and land set on several acres of nature reserves, pasture land and edible gardens with some of the most spectacular walks and wilderness in Devonshire county. We are located in a very picturesque valley with a river running right through the land and gardens.
Much of our current creative output goes towards the support and growth of a grassroots, multimedia theatrical company (we founded in 2018) delivering cathartic and otherworldly ritual performances to 21st century audiences.
The company’s focus is based around working with nature, highlighting environmental causes and healing the rift between the natural world, spirituality and humanity through wearable art interventions and spectacular performances.
We are a deeply engaging and committed group of individuals rallying for ecological and social justice and whose work also supports an LGBTQ+ homeless project in central London (The Outside Project)
We currently would welcome practical support to put together new concepts of wearable art and costumes in our art studio in our remote Devon nature base, between Totnes and Dartmouth.
Someone with a steady hand, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn new skills while working with organic materials to join our project for an agreed period. Previous experience in art or craft would be helpful although not essential if we can ascertain that this would be a beneficial exchange.
Tasks to be expected could range from sewing, stitching, glueing, papier mâché structure making, gold leaf gilding, crystallising, drilling, attaching with thread or wire, decorating, precision painting and more. Our wearable art pieces are used in Dance -Theatre productions taking place in Devon, London and internationally. They are often museum grade detailed works of art and require a degree of patience and stamina to create something totally unique and exceptional.
It is also helping on attaining food self sustainability while promoting bio diversity on the land so help with gardening, weeding, planting, watering and the likes will also be most welcome!
You will have your own room and bathroom in the main house with fantastic views over the river, gardens and rolling hills.
Delicious Vegan or Vegeterian food will be cooked and shared on a regular basis, from healthy, organic, pure ingredients and usually in batches that can be enjoyed over a few days to make the most of what the place has to offer (unless you volunteer to cook different dishes daily, of course!)
Internet is sourced from tethering unlimited 4g hotspot on a mobile phone so expect no miracles but we are able to do everything we need to with this system and believe you will too.
This is a Tee Total household where we encourage a time of deep immersion with the self and the natural world. Smokers will have a designated outdoor spot for that. Private phone conversations can be made in the privacy of your own room and we have unlimited data access should you wish to make long calls.
There are many local walks and paths that can be enjoyed directly from our doorstep (a footpath runs directly through our land), you can visit and pet local horses and goats, it’s a 15-20 minutes walk to the village where you will find a shop, a pub and a vibrant community of eco minded folks. The nearest bus stop is around 50 mins walk away and car shares can be organised for day trips to Totnes or Dartmouth. Totnes is the nearest train station and is 30 minutes drive from our property, as is the city of Dartmouth. The sea is only 10 minute drive away and nearby start point and its lighthouse have been voted some of the UK’s most spectacular landscapes, housing an abandoned village, dramatic cliffs, a colony of seals and some of the most exquisite coves and beaches.
We like to live in a conscious and connected manner, encouraging quality exchanges as well as honouring individual Rythms in an atmosphere of peace and quietude. A degree of dedication and willingness to commit to developing yourself and the art projects here is expected of our guests and clarity in communicating mutual expectations will be a priority in our preliminary communications.
