Our cozy and relaxed hostel in a Victorian townhouse is just minutes away walking distance from Inverness city center, Castle and River Ness.
With 34 beds, the hostel provides dormitories and private rooms.
We do our best to provide excellent service and keep everything nice and tidy while keeping affordable prices.

This is a boutique hostel located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming, safe, and friendly environment where guests feel at home. With a strong focus on hospitality excellence and memorable guest experiences, we aim to deliver high standards while maintaining a relaxed, social atmosphere.
We are currently looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our team in Inverness.
The Role
This is a live-in, part-time, on-site position supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day running of the hostel.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer service.
This is a practical, varied, and physically active role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and working closely with guests and a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming, checking in, and orientating guests
Managing reservations (online, phone, and walk-ins)
Handling guest enquiries, feedback, and resolving complaints professionally
Operating the property management system
Ensuring security and safety standards are maintained
Supporting staff training where required
Responding to emails and online reviews
Housekeeping duties (making beds including bunk beds, cleaning rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming, mopping, waste management)
Laundry (washing, drying, folding)
Assisting with minor repairs and general maintenance
Contributing to projects such as sustainability initiatives, marketing, and social media
About You
You are:
Friendly, confident, and guest-focused
Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling guest issues and problem-solving independently
Physically fit and happy to undertake housekeeping duties
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a small team
Essential Requirements:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (fluent English required)
Computer literate
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays required)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Previous hospitality experience
Second language
