    Description

If you would describe yourself as kind and you are genuinely interested in exploring our beautiful country, have fun with our kids, to play games, day trips, explore our woods and land, experience nature, potter around our farm, and have common sense we would love to hear from you. Ideally we would like you to stay a month or more.
We would love to learn from you, discover your country and culture, learn some words, share you skills.
We live near Portlaoise, in the beautiful county of Laois, on a farm. We have horses, cows, chickens, dogs.
We home school the kids so there is always something to do here. We have forest school, day trips to the zoo, museums, chilling out at home, reading, playing football, cards, board games, playing pool, walks in the fields, tacking up ponies, walking dogs, painting sheds...we have it all going on etc. Whatever your skill or interest we are happy to share it with you and learn from you.
We have woods nearby to explore, the Slieve Bloom mountains on our doorstep, Emo court, the rock of Dunamaise, Durrow and Stradbally woods as well as the best travel links to explore Ireland. We are an hour from Dublin, within 40 minutes of Kilkenny, Tipperary, Kildare and Carlow and under 2 hours from Cork /Limerick /Galway etc.
We would love an extra pair of hands/eyes to join our family on our adventures. There is also lots to do on the house with kids/farm/polytunnel/cooking/animals/garden/painting etc if that's where your interest lies.
